Now that's hard back breaking work all the gold will go to the massage therapist. This was amazing to watch and a reminder of how hard the work was. Now this is the stuff I dream about, and to imagine that you can still to this day find these abandoned mines and be able to work them just like they did back in the day, and still be successful in doing so, as for me and I know a lot of your other patrons would love a chance to be able to go out to the mines with you and experience what it was like to be a miner. !

I used to work in my dad's business, a boatyard. We would on occasion shore up boats of 50 tons. I can't imagine how many tons of rock are above you, nor how cracked or unstable it may be. But I would sure like to see more supports in that there mine. I'm not the miner, however. Probably a good thing. 😄 Jeff, these videos are awesome; the way you give us looks at so many different aspects of gold; history, geology, all of it. Unparalleled!!! I posted in comments on an old video so not sure if you got the message. I'm up here in Ontario Canada in Muskoka. We have a cottage on Skeleton Lake. Years ago gold was discovered on the north shore of the lake. We own most of the big beach that you can see on Google earth. It's all made up of quartz and feldspar. I know where the veins are as well and you can see the quartz on the east side as well. The lake was created by a meteor impact along time ago and is a crystal clear spring fed lake. Take a look at the lake on Google earth and tell me what you think Jeff. Love your videos, never miss an episode. Hoping one day I can fly down and go on one of your excursions. I'm on BLM website looking at the GLO records. I didn't know the the original Survey Plats have the exact pitch of the ore veins they were Mining, the locations of pretty much everything, and on a lot of them they even tell you the locations of the buildings like the black smith shops, housing quarters, ECT, ECT! I think it was around Colorado Springs similar to what Jason over at MBMM has. District Geologist over at the huge Newmont Cripple Creek/Victor operation told me that some years ago. There's literally a 'gold mine' in a lot of those tailings and dumps...and that was when AU was around $1,200/ounce
