To be honest, I almost didn’t watch this video. I’m struggling with weight loss and a pcos diagnosis right now and I was like “man, I really don’t want to hear about another persons incredible fitness journey and see them flex how great they look”. But I had to switch my thought process, because you’re Morgan. I relate to you a lot, and I’m happy that you’ve been able to make a healthy transition to fitness in your life. Thanks for taking us along with you, and representing a healthy adaptation without “flexing” your weight loss, body checking, etc. you’re a positive influence to this generation, and I’m PROUD of you, and thankful for you.

When people say you look different, it isn’t necessarily the weight loss itself. You’re just radiating on a different level now. I noticed a change in you before you said something awhile back. Mostly how much clearer your eyes are and how healthier your skin looks. And it’s NOT that you looked horrible, it’s that you have a spark that didn’t seem to be there before. I’m proud of you.

@@tobybrown3045 I feel like people are forgetting what the goal is. Losing or gaining weight is often not the main goal. In my own experience it’s the healthy relationship with food mentally. So if people say that I look good or better it’s not relevant to me. I would’ve loved if someone said that they can see that I’m less stressed about food or something. But only if you can actually sense/see it. It’s a pretty sensitive subject… You can always ask the person!

An old friend of mine lost a lot of weight and most of the time people were congratulating her and praising her for her weight loss, saying she looks amazing etc. it made her think “was I really that bad before” and just fuelled her eating disorder. She was the unhealthiest and unhappiest she’d ever been. And people don’t realise how comments like that can really take a toll on someone 😢 I think we all just need to stop placing such a heavy importance on other peoples bodies and looks as it causes the other person to become hyper fixated with their appearance as if it’s their sole value

Hello Morgan! I’m coming back to this video today (already watched it when it came out) and just - thank you. Thank you. You know how people say “you never know who you are inspiring,” you have changed my life by simply doing you and sharing the journey. After my wife and I watched your video - we started doing morning work outs together. I’ve made that sound even harder than it is. But you expressed feelings about how to just get up and do the damn thing, that it just clicked for us. For the last 5 days I’ve woken up every day and have done the stair master stepper thing and first day it was just 6 minutes? The next 12! The next 14! And it’s amazing how much that small amount (compared to 24hrs) is changing my life. It’s helping my mind and the feeling of clarity and motivation. So thank you. You have helped me get my life together because you shared yours. I love you and your channel! You’re the unsung hero and I’m here to sing for you! YOURE THE FUCKING BEST!

I feel you about the new insecurities. For me it’s having reached „most“ goals I had pretty suddenly. like having a great job, a super nice apartment, a partner. I thought this would all make me way more confident but instead I feel more insecure and scared that people find me boring and too „settled“ and that I’m losing my glow and uniqueness. Also, once you reached a goal like a good job, you „mingle“ with new people that seem smarter/ better/ more productive because you are part of a selected few. Idk.. never would wanna complain about my life but I FEEL you. ❤

I'll be 35 this year, I have two kids and I'm only 5'2". I just had a hysterectomy recently, and once my swelling went down I went from a size 14 to a size 6 in the space of two weeks! It feels so stupid to say this out loud, but it was actually traumatizing. I'm constantly freaking out in my body, I have no clue what I look like, and everyone that sees me says something about my weight loss. It sounds like I should be celebrating, but people don't understand the reality of being in a body that's changed so much!! I was only 125lbs before I had my daughter, I lost all the pregnancy weight the month she was born, and then my body decided it hated my uterus and swelled like crazy. So I was living in a body for 3 years that was bigger than I had ever experienced, and then to go back down to my normal size in 2 weeks, I'm not okay. It's been very fucking weird! Just here to say I feel you girl, and it's all valid. Being a human is such a varied experience!

I used to be overweight and then finally got down to my goal weight and the feeling of being overweight has just never gone away for me. I am still self conscious and always feel fat even though i know I am not. I will look in the mirror and like my outfits and buy cute clothes but when I am out and about I just have that feeling from being overweight for so long. I am just uncomfortable in my skin and I need to learn to love my self, I know this and I am getting better at it but it's a hard journey. And trust me Morgan it does such putting all the time and energy into getting healthy and then stopping for just a month and falling backwards. Don't give up bit don't be hard on yourself. I’m 69 y/o and still have those thoughts that I look fat like I did in high school and college (I was the chubby friend in every group), even though I lost the weight 40 years ago. The feeling of looking fat and fear of regaining never goes away though I know rationally I have control over my body and eating. Morgan, I totally felt this. It’s so hard to feel truly happy when each change you make just kind of leads to a new set of problems. But I really just try and tell myself every day, “this is my life, this is my body, this is my dream”. You don’t owe anyone anything, mentally, physically, or other worldly. If you want to do something, go and do it, no matter how strange you may think you look. If you want to go outside and just walk around, go do it. If you get bored 10 minutes in and don’t want to walk anymore, then head back inside. Listen to yourself. When I feel myself thinking “what would someone else think” I remind myself that I’m judging them by judging their thoughts, and that their perception of me has no bearing on who I am as a person. I don’t know if I wrote this for you, or if I wrote this for myself, but it doesn’t matter because it’s the truest thing I’ve ever typed out. ❤

Honestly, Morgan, you give me so much inspiration. Your vids talking about your weight loss and your skin cancer journey helped push me so far. I took my weight loss so much more seriously, started counting my calories, and did 2 power zone programs on my Peloton. With all that, I was able to lose about 20lbs. I go back and forth between 18lbs-20lbs lost. I also, funny enough, had a skin cancer scare as well. A couple of weeks ago, i had a large biopsy done, and today, I finally get to have my stitches out. I've enjoyed watching your vids and you coming into your own. I think if you did like a bi-weekly weight loss video talking about grocery hauls, workouts, workout outfit hauls, etc, it would be continued motivation for so many.

When someone comments on your weight loss, you’re like dang did I look bad before?! This is what I took from your video so maybe this is how you feel, too, and you’re not the only one. 🖤 I try to remember that one day people won’t remember me by how I looked or how much I weighed.

I always love how real Morgan is. I’ve been following her for such a long time and I honestly feel like we’ve grown together. I’m also trying to get into my “fitness girlie era” and it’s so nice to hear someone have the same anxiety and concerns that I have. It’s so comforting and so raw and real. Keep doing you Morgan, I’m loving all of it ❤️

Thank you so much Morgan for being so open and honest about the mental negitive that come with losing a significant amount of weight I lost 70pounds in 6.5 months and everything you were saying I feel. And I honestly thought I was alone in these thoughts and I can’t thank you enough for being open about it coz it’s so nice to know I’m not alone in these feelings. Thank you for being you love watching your videos and your such an inspiration

I think you should look at this as a whole: The positives have outweighed the negatives. You ARE HAPPIER because you have new workout friends, you can fit into a lot more clothes, you are super healthy, your skin is flawless, your tummy is flat, your hair is shinning, you have so much more energy! And finally, your self confidence is way better than before! You don’t have to constantly be thinking about your weight which takes a lot of head space. The negatives seem more about finding and loving yourself for who you are as a person and not feeling loved in a relationship. Feeling lonely. None of that has anything to do with the weight you’ve lost or how you’ve changed your habits for the better. So your weight loss journey as a whole, has been exceptional! ❤ I’ve just lost 22lbs but I’m 30 with 2 kids 9 & 4 and working out 3x a week (no classes) and I work 24hr a week and school full time. I think you need to give yourself some more slack. You workout 6 days a week…that’s insane! But good for you. You have a lot of freedom to do so! But I think you need to start focusing on the positive things. Your inner voice is really messing you up. Perhaps it’s time to incorporate some therapy? You need to change your inner voice. That’s the biggest thing that has really helped me because I literally hated myself and attempted suicide my entire life and I had to do the work the last 4 years to really change myself mentally and now finally I’m changing myself physically.

This is really inspiring. I gained 100lbs after my hysterectomy and has been stuck with it for years. It was FINALLY discovered my thyroid was off (which id been telling Dr's for YEARS) and now on meds. But have finally started dropping weight & also joined a 🏋️‍♂️. You're making me see tho that I need to push myself even more when working out. Tyvm❤

Everyone telling you that you look so different are definitely COMPLIMENTING you! I love this type of content from you, keep it up ❤ we're all so proud of you

AG1 with pineapple juice every morning is an absolute game changer. I have serious autoimmune diseases and it helps me so much. It really is nutrition at a cellular level and the mushroom complex (not the magic kind) really does have a calming component PS Strength is far more attractive than skinny. People mean well with their comments but we just need to learn better ways to express things. Wow Morgan.. you are looking so strong. You’d know how to take that. You know the work it took to get there and it has made you look different but in leaving that out, you don’t know how to take it. You know what it is though. I admire your dedication. 5 days a week is enough for any other job. It’s enough to work out too but if you had an extra day do it for fun and not due to fear. Wishing you the best girl✨

I’ve lost 160+ pounds over the past two years and I totally understand what you mean about people’s comments. I love the compliments but also I did the weight loss for my health not the looks. And it makes you question how people value others based on looks rather than who they are as people when you get compliments or better treatment when you’re thinner.

Lowkey as someone who has gained almost 100lbs in a year…, you saying you can wrap a towel all the way around gave me a ughhh moment lmaooo bc I can buy a few tanks, t shirts and leggings in a bigger size but the dang towels!! They are all so tiny!! Even my “big towels” can’t close without showing my gut, cooch and booty anymore 😭😭😭

As someone with adhd and anxiety my psych once said to me ‘when [a life goal] happens you’re still going to have anxiety’, and it’s true, it’s the anxiety we need to work on, and for me that work will be ongoing. On another note, that I hope doesn’t play into anxieties- because your body is wonderful- silicone gel patches, worn for 24 hrs a day for three months (change when showering) are the only thing that makes a big difference to scars (peer reviewed research, and personal post surgeries experience). You can wear them only at night or whenever, but the longer the better. ❤

Hi Morgan, as someone who lost 65lbs as well. I feel you. I looked back at my old photos and saw a huge difference (no wonder everybody is commenting on how different I look). Hearing any comment on my appearance (no matter good or bad) still puts me on high alert. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of clothes/styles I like. Still trying to find my workout routine and the right balance in health and wellness. Glad to see (in the comments as well) that I'm not alone. Love seeing your journey and thanks for being my "RU-vid girl". lets hang out and eat ruffles if you're ever in Asia!

You remind me so much of my much younger sister. I love her so much and she’s hilarious but also has struggles too. She’s got health issues but kicks arse, works out and her body is strong. She plays Aussie rules footy and scares the living hell out of me haha. But I admire her and am so proud of her. I always think about sending your videos to her. Basically, I think you are so special and beautiful and strong for being yourself and sharing your truths. Thank you for helping me feel like my sister is still close (I left the toxic fam a couple years ago but still miss them). My sister was the best of them all.

I also had a very very hard 2023 and gained a ton of weight. I also was stuck doing only cycling and am now pushing myself out of my comfort zone and doing all sorts of other classes. I’m down 15 pounds so far, and have another 45 or so to lose. As someone on a similar path I appreciate the realness. I have 2 kids so like, that adds another obstacle but I’m doing it and it feels good. Seeing your transformation is exciting and I hope I will get similar results. More than anything, It feels good to be healthy

Yes fitness and any!!! kind of joyful movement/movement you like is healthy and good. Unfortunately when you are in fitness spaces a lot there is an element of perfection, looking for “issues,” that can cause insecurity. Your scars and moles are what make you, you, make you human, show how you have made it through 100% of your hardest days, all of that is SO BEAUTIFUL. There are absolutely ppl with all kinds of different skin out there. There are SUPERMODELS with moles, they just edit them out in photos, which I think is bananas. I have lots of moles and some scars and I think that they’re beautiful. 💓

Morgan I have followed your journey for so long (after Hawaii days when you were 1st in shane & rylands videos)and am so proud and happy for you! I also lost 60 pounds but due to illness not dedication like you. I understand the feeling when people constantly comment how much better you look! Lol was I shrek before? Your so right when the weight isnt an issue we will still have insecurities because we are all weird old humans its our nature. The best outlook you expressed was appreciation for our bodies & I feel that tremendously. I do like being able to shop off the rack also, but as you're aware, it doesn't solve all the problems. I think you're one of the sweetest people, and I couldn't be more happy for your house projection completion & all the work you have put into yourself personally! Its inspiring!

Yes, weight loss doesn’t magically make your life or mental health the best it’ll ever be 😂 I learned that the hard way. i’ve lost 161lbs since 2020 and am now maintaining my weight around 300-310lbs. Proud of myself but it is hard, not the diet, the mental part. Doing the things you don’t wanna do, prioritizing healthy routines/foods etc.
