In this tutorial video I will show you how to programme your OpenTX radio’s T5 or T6 trim tabs to become momentary or on off switches. I will show you 3 examples I am sure there are many other options.

Hi Bill. This video is very useful and thankyou. I want to use the T5 and T6 buttons (On an X10S) to output a proportional servo position. When the audio says I am in the center of trim, the servo should also be centered. The more times I push it, the further the servo moves away from center, culminating at 100% in both directions. Basically I want the trim buttons to work as proportional channels. Is this possible? I went from an X12S to an X10S and need two more proportional channels. Thanks!

Hi Bill, complete newbie wanting to get into DLG and wondering if the RM Zorro will be able to be programed to have momentary switch for launch mode (in the traditional top left position) and a 3 position flight trim modes.

Yes you would able to set up the mixes in the way you want. If you are not sure how to do this send an email to triplemadventures@gmail.com explaining exactly what you require the flight surfaces to do and I will work out the mixes for you.

Hi Bill. Do you think it is possible to connect a 6-position switch, which can replace the 6 pushbuttons on the radio? i have this on my turnigy 9XR pro

Yes you could where clicking the trim tab up or down will cycle 5 - 6 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 6 like the 6 position example in this video.
