Jordan's vocal is stunning but the musical backing lends a gravitas to the lyrics that I have not heard in other renditions.

I love the music part of Mary did you know, but I get stuck on the whole thing being Songwriter Mark Lowry mansplaning Jesus to his own mother. Cause like, dude, you wrote this for church, you darn well knew she knew. He could have written “The Virgin Mary knew” instead, because it is very well documented that not only did she know, but she supported and believed in him.
