Fire team Kilo has been deployed to the crash site of High Charity.
Mission briefing is to recon and extract a covenant data artefact from within the vessel.
Consumed by flood......what lies within awaits spartan 719.
Operation: Charity Falls is a short mini series based off the Halo franchise, set around the times of Halo wars 2 and Halo infinite. Each episode will be around 1 minute to 3 minutes long, with cool action, awesome visuals and hopefully a compelling fan-made halo short story.

The only thing that’s really bugging me is the footstep audio sounding like the exact same footstep being taken on repeat. Being one of the few main sounds you hear currently draws a lot of attention to it. But beyond that looks and sounds beautiful

Agreed, plus, I'm not convinced a spartan's footsteps are that heavy. MJOLNIR is heavy for sure, but it's also somewhat stealthy.

I liked that it was like a rattle, it sounds like he's got a bunch of gear on his armor that's shaking around. But it was definitely very repetitive. Needed like a dozen different variations on the sound, instead of just one or two

something about the spartan model looks a bit off. in some scenes it looks more like a marine. the neck is a bit too long. other than that, this short is amazing, especially for the size of the channel

This is sick! the cinematography is so good, it's Blur Studios-quality, honestly this looks like something straight out of H2A cutscenes, or HW2 cutscenes, and i find it funny how this project actually used the *propper* Covenant doors of High Charity but Halo 3 failed to use the correct Covenant stuff from High Charity and made entirely new models that didn't resemble HC at all

These doors are actually from a CCS Cruiser as seen in Halo CE. The level Cortana from halo 3 was supposed to be the level for the infected CCS Cruiser after Floodgate but they didn't finish it in time so they reused these assets later. Also another fact is that in the middle of the Mission u will come across what looks like a Bridge which is also reused from the Shadow of Intent

Wew this is great! 9.5/10 :) Maybe for the sound design, the footsteps could sound slightly weightier + a little more squelchy when stepping on flood bits? Or maybe the weight is masked by the intense bass in the music/background. Looking forward to the next part!

Well it is metal from the boots of the spartan banging against the floor, which also happens to be metal likely. Reason you wouldn’t be able to hear it is solely due to the constant fighting you are used to in games, and they really didn’t implement footsteps in the earlier games having “too much noise” if any at all.

This looks sick as all hell, only gripe I've got is with the foley for the Spartan walking through the place. His boots should be weightier, more bassy, less treble. Also, considering the ground is covered in Flood goop, some squishing to his footsteps where appropriate. Can't wait for the next episode!

This Halo Infinite Flood DLC is looking pretty fockin good so far. Just kidding, I know it's a Fan project. But holy hell man. If 343 does do a Flood DLC for Infinite they better reach out to you for some atmospheric pointers. The way you had the High Charity's progression from untouched by the flood to full Flood hive is, is....Its....I can't even think of a word for it. You nailed the horror aspect of the flood, and I have not really such fear since first playing CE. Keep up the good work.

Instant masterpiece. Animation was smooth, very pleasing and atmospheric. Visual effects were beautiful, can’t even put into words how much I love the dense flood fog. The lighting was also very pleasing to look at. Sound work and music were nearly perfect. Overall, absolutely stunning visuals and audio work! So excited to see some action! One thing I noticed was that a lot of footstep sounds repeated. I’m sure this likely has something to do with having a limited budget for such a recourse intensive and time consuming project, but I figured I’d point this out so hopefully it can be improved in the future :)

Thanks for the kind works! Everything is created by me, all from a cube pretty much! :) Some sound effects are taken from the games (mainly halo 2 Anniversary) and then edited slightly to beef them up to sound more cinematic in my opinion! :) I can't wait to get started with episode 03, i'm hoping it'll be worth the wait!

Love it super excited for the next episodes though I would suggest thinking about how the sound design plays into the world. Walking on solid metal interior vs walking on the flood sections or different weight to the steps when the Spartan is stepping over or under obstacles. Can be a good way to draw in audiences more and get more immersed

My only critique (and I don’t know enough about sound effects to know how to improve this) is that I was able to tell that the footsteps were the same set of pre-recorded sounds played in a loop. The rest was absolutely fantastic.

Yep and is a completely valid critism! I definitely messed up on the footsteps tbh (believe it or not there's 6 different variations but they do all loop throughout). It's something i wish i re-did haha

Yall dont realize how amazing this stuff is for a pretty small youtube channel. you all deserve a lot better and i hope you get some recognition from the rest of the halo community

Was the music made by you or someone you know, I recognize some halo motifs here and there and the kick at the end wasn’t the best choice for a cinematic drum, I love your work on the 3D models and animation and damn that lighting... I loved everything except the walking sound being really repetitive and the music being kinda inconsistent at some points but other than that this is a work of art, and it really looks professional:)
