I can't wait to do something similar to this when I'm much older enough (only 17 will be 18 in February) I love giving back I always want to make a difference for people less fortunate than me but I'm too young right now I can't get out into the world like I want and visit homeless shelters, foster care centers, kid hospitals and ect

There are many ways that one can give back to the community like volunteering at local hospitals, animal shelters, homeless shelters, schools and many others. When the time is right, I know you will find the right place to volunteer at. It warms my heart whenever I see young people like yourself wanting to give back. I’m retired and now have the time to give back. You are young and have so much to live for and give. Your comment brought tears of joy to my eyes. Sonia, this may be my favorite of yours so far!! This is what a 10-14 shoebox is supposed to look like! I got a jewelry basket when I was 10-11, and I was obsessed with it. The jewelry box is amazing! The watch is beautiful. Love the gold touches. The outfit and flip flops are gorgeous. And of course the sewing kit! Of course, leave the scissors in! Hi Sonia, This is a beautiful box for Miss 10-14. I love the jewellery case. I remember getting my first jewellery box with a spinning ballerina when I was 5 and my first watch when I was 10. Both were very treasured items. I have a packed a jewellery box for Miss 5-9 with plastic beads just like those I given when I was 5. I am now inspired to create a jewellery box for Miss 10-14. TFS! 📿

Golden Girls is my favorite show! This box is certainly golden! I love everything in it! Those scissors are perfect! My favorite is the jewelry box with all the beautiful treasures! That is a true keepsake! I had a similar box as a teen and I loved it! I sent jewelry boxes last year with dancing ballerinas! I bought so many stringy majiggy’s! Lol… at that price why not? This is such a sparkly, glam box! I love it, and I know whoever receives it will, too. :D The color scheme is fantastic, very girly, and there's a great mix of fun and practical items. That jewelry box is definitely a wow item and will be cherished for years to come. The sewing kit and shears will definitely be very useful (keep the shears, by the way! If the girl doesn't use them, her mom or another family member will absolutely be able to find a use for them), the stickers are so chic, and the little platypus so fun and silly! You did a great job putting it all together. 👍

Wow, love it! Must have cost a fortune, no?! I want to do this age range but I don’t think I could afford to do very many this well. Is it better to do one or two really good ones, or multiple decent but not amazing ones?
Hello, Amelia! Thank you so very much for connecting and subscribing. For starters, I’m “newbie” OCC boxer. As far a prices and buying 💰 smart…..it’s been a learning experience for me. This particular box was more than what I budget per box. I went a little crazy with it. The shirt is from The Children’s Place on-line summer clearance. Pack of 3 shirts were $12.95 ($4.33 each). I had rewards points from previous purchases, so shirt came to $3.99. Leggings were $3.99. The jewelry box got from Amazon and paid using my credit card rewards point and paid $5.99. The jewelry, also from The Children’s Place online sale, came to very little about $3. The watch from Walmart was $6. Old Navy flip flops were $2.50. I think this box together with the Little Princess box, were my two most expensive. Sometimes, it’s difficult to not get carry away! Moving forward, I cannot move at this pace….yikes! I try keeping my boxes in the low $20 range whenever possible. Also, item prices vary from state to state. From other OCC boxers, I have learned much about smart buying, where to purchase and when to buy that I feel my 2022 are not going to be as price challenging as my 2021. I think “multiple decent” boxes for 10-14 age is a good way to go. My goal for 2022 is to include itemized prices for each box in description page. Hope this all makes sense. When I receive it, planning to do a comparison video of the two. The “fine jewelry” is from the Children’s Place summer online sale. Their children jewelry is very nicely done. Jewelry cases are hard to find, except during Christmas. They seem to be a seasonal item. I’m so happy how this box turned out that I’m planning to make more for next year. you should be able to find the locations where your boxes go, we have, ours have been going to warm countries for years. Your drop off should be able to tell you, that's who told us. Do you have the tracking labels?? we don't have them here in Canada. I love the outfit! everything goes well together. I have a little paltapus but a pink one! haven't used it yet
