We had 6 subjects in 1st year: Anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pathology, microbiology and pharmacology. During finals, we would be totally tired by the end of 6 theory exams and then we had to give 6 practicals too.... 2nd year had the 6 mentioned subjects, plus another 1 (community medicine). Taking exams in MBBS course is undoubtedly extremely tiring. 😭

Ek baar current situation dekhlo, uske baad bolna, when I entered med college, the first thing my teacher said me, why did you get into this, don't you see what's happening to doctors? Curse me, but I saw my parents all my life, so I know how much hard work goes in this. It's not just fun and games. Respect and money is in the money. We lose our lives now trying to save someone else's lives. And money, very few doctors are lucky enough to enough earn 1 crore in their entire life.

Bro kota factory was much betters as they showed the reality of iit jee world toughest exam.I think from what I've seen meet question of phy and chemistry,But biology =MBBS .This was also nice but not like kota factory

@@pad11raghav38 Okay..IIT JEE has PCM..and NEET has PCB..for doctors the "B" part is more important than Physics and Chem..that's why the questions are not as tough. So you're basically comparing two completely different exams, also.. there are 76k seats, without quota and close to 10 lac kids give the exam as opposed to 15 lac seats in your case. If you guys don't get into IIT you have other colleges, everyone ultimately gets a seat and sometimes seats go waste. In medicine only the top 1% make it, and management seats go upto 1 crore in some colleges cause thats the value of an MBBS seat, not everyone can afford that, and lets not even begin to compare professions. We know that medicine is considered to be one of the most noble professions in the world, so stop being so delusional and accept the reality of the situation.

Ragging is a more common phenomenon in engineering and medical colleges. It can range from reciting a poetry to cleaning seniors' rooms every day... and sometimes worse. Usually the senior ragging the junior turns out to be the mentor and the guide for the latter in life, but then all stories do not always have a happy ending.

They have just shown the surface of ragging,it's very much true,and it's fun to be totally honest. When we were in first year,we were supposed to wish seniors goodmorning/evening all the time,dance for them,write their journals,wear formal clothes 24*7 and much more. It's a memorable experience.

The ragging happens unofficially in almost all the colleges in India. The seniors rag the freshers for a couple of months and then it ends with a fresher party. Seniors lay down some rules and it can be anything like not wearing a jeans until fresher party or keeping hair short. Its a good way to increase interaction between fresh entrants and their seniors unless its ugly. I have seen relationships built during this time go a long way during their time in college and after. I have a better relationship with my seniors even now who ragged me in my first year.

In my honest opinion, some colleges are like that where it’s every heavy on ragging but I think some people just fall into the seniors schemes whereas others who show confidence just get by fine . It’s all about not looking like a wimp

Ragging happens in govt medical colleges. It is called intro.where rules and regulations are taught. Like calling seniors sir ma'am and obvious stuff happens you know😂. We don't mess with seniors for our own good.

Yes... I'm from a medical college as well... And both ( negative and positive) kinds of ragging or I must say "The Introduction" Of the juniors is taken by their seniors ... It's nowhere to hurt them intentionally.. It's just a matter of creating bond with the newcomers.. Also it's a very fun task... I'd gone through the ragging and now I do the same with my juniors... It's like no one is harmed... It's just that the seniors are always on top 😎 and the negative ragging in which some students might get harmed by the seniors are also prevalent but it's very very very rare now... After the govt. of India passesd anti-ragging laws... So, conclusively... Ragging/Introduction is the most fun part of your college (medical only) and at the time when you get your degree and your course is complete... These are the only memories which flashback 😍

Miss you should watch swetabh gangwar videos maybe it will help you in long run. Maybe you think Ragging helps building bond with juniors but it could be done without Ragging too. Ragging is a criminal offence (bullying is not fun and certainly not positive). Ragging is not fun and it does not have happy ending for everyone. I'm a senior and I have so many junior friends and in my college no one dares taking Ragging because as a senior we have the responsibility and accountability to not bully anyone. We took the responsibility thats how we got rid of Ragging. Maybe atleast you should try to take responsibility for yourself.

In engineering... atleast in the state of Maharashtra, Ragging is the last thing ever happens. Never ever have we been treated like that. All the rules are implemented well also but the seniors themselves were very generous and actually helped us.

Ragging is no longer that common or doesnt occur in such an open setting anymore in most colleges because of all these new laws and more severe penalties. In my experience, I hadnt even met a single senior for the first 2 months and the one that I did talk to was just trying to sell me his bone set🤷🏻‍♀️

Fact is that it is happening till today.... As i m n mbbs student,,, my first year was just full of these stuffs.. but really it was enough good to make us more strong.. from Moring 7am we were used to slip in night at 2 or 3 am. After college time my senior appeared like ghosts ...and then it all starts. But happiness is that now physical molestation is banned that was worse

Also there are some kind of rules set by the seniors for the juniors which they HAVE TO follow untill and unless they get their Freshers Party... Like not wearing jeans, no eyeliner, no open hair and boys in shirts only, formal parts, sleeves all down buttoned up... The main idea is that... Juniors should always be underdressed than their seniors 😂😂😂

Ragging in medical and engineering colleges of India is the most discussed topic when someone has to get into the college after Senior high school. I've heard from my cousins and friends how it goes. The first year students have to wear slippers, they can't wear shoes, they have to walk with there hands back held and eyes down when they have to walk by their seniors, fresher boys can't talk and have relationship with their classmates, only seniors can. So they have to wait for second year. In boys hostel ragging gets worse, and after every ragging session the boys are treated with sweets and eating stuff😂😂. So they enjoy it.

Yes jaby, ragging is similar to how they portrayed it.... but, it usually fun..... as juniors, we were not allowed to wear jeans.... yes, cadaver smells because of formaldehyde which helps to preserve the body..... yes, you have to buy ur own bone set, but u can borrow them from ur seniors also.....

D hall(dissection) was much more strict. We were not allowed to close our nose becos of the smell(cos its considered disrespect to cadaver) . More than smell it was formalin fumes causing tears, burning in eyes. Grt were those days

I am a medical student and yes this sort of ragging was quite common before but now the freshers aren't even allowed to speak with any senior for the first 6 months in our college. They aren't even allowed to go outside the campus.

First years are not allowed to wear jeans in most of medical and dental colleges in India. Its not because of official dress code. Its just a way in which seniors assert dominence by restricting certain things for the newcomers... Such as greeting every senior you encounter as shown in the video or no direct eye contact while talking to your senior.

Yes guys, ragging is pretty privalent in colleges in India not just medical college, pretty much evry college has this problem, although it is banned by government and is abhored by both the university and the professors nobody realy care and each generation of students have to deal with ragging some even commit suicide. It is a cycle that has kept repeating again and again as very first year will sometime become a second year and will try to extract some enjoyment through ragging and relieve some resentment they had suffered in their first year.

Yes we go through these kinda ragging...in 1st year we were not allowed to fold our sleeves...in some college junior were asked to wash senior's cloths stuff like that were normal bt now ragging is strictly prohibited 🤗 bt it still exists 🙄

One of my ragging experiences: Late night in our boys hostel, 7-8 freshers were made to stand in our undies and first do grand salute to each senior present there( 9-10) then each one would switch off the ceiling fan and curse it using the ugliest cuss words u know till it stops rotating!!🤣🤣 God those days were fun!!!

Hey Jaby, I don't know if you guys noticed but there is no MBBS degrees in the west.. MBBS is an undergraduate degree in India and doctors have to do Post graduation seperately after doing MBBS.. while in the west med school starts from post graduation..

So many commentators saying ragging is common but i never seen and experienced it I am BA student At bengaluru And my puc in mysore ... But only once i saw some group of student started fighting immediately police came and take everyone ... police beat the pulp out of them In mysore police is strict ...
