​@@MoisTeaGaming no they're right. Encircling Paris or Calais doesn't count as an island and won't drain stars. Theres a section in the manual about it

@@MoisTeaGaming may be a lot of sustained attacking but saves you on having to buy trenches each time, plus the more the enemy interconnects his trenches the easier it will be taking it next time along with the ammount of supplies he'll waste rebuying ballons machineguns and artillery pieces

So your saying stick some mgs off of a comms trenches behind a trench line ? Interesting prospect which I'll have to gander at some point .cheers !

It could be that way a hex or so behind, or even going off the sides if the terrain allows for that as an advantage. Once you start trying to use it and you think about it while doing it, it will make a lot more sense! Again, enjoying the content I hope my suggestion helps. Further into the game, emplacements (especially the upgraded ones) can be extremely helpful in managing the wave attacks the enemy sends at you. Especially when they have tanks. Remember the only three ways you can kill tanks in the game quickly is as follows tanks, bombers and well placed heavy arty (three simultaneously launched volleys will almost immediately destroy any stationary tank) I love this game and really enjoy watching your content! You deserve the boost and I am looking forward to watching your channel grow!

@@MoisTeaGaming you can also stick a single coms trench by itself, and stick a mg on it, it forces the enemy to swarm it to take it out. with the right spacing they can;t get close enough ina trench to throw grenades

@@MoisTeaGaming Had an addendum to add; You can also add completely isolated comms trenches to add emplacements to.

A region doesnt recover a star every turn. Only if you dont attack for a turn. So attacking over two turns will take the region. It is still best to attack as many times as possible in one turn, but its not a deal breaker.

@@MoisTeaGaming Game ends if you manage to smash enemy morale to zero. Its fun campaign but you might want to look into save editing or hexediting enemy morale if its too low. Devs are looking into ways to perhaps not have morale be instant ender but its gonna take while.

@@MoisTeaGaming i would say that its gaming logic every game that has ever existed always uses main spawn points as the logistical HQ also , encirclement is meant to simulate being cut off from that logistical HQ hence why encircling Verdun is a valid move because Paris is the logistical hub for the French forces and thus they will be put into a state of siege not to mention as well if you continue to extend your lines in a encirclement attempt you yourself will be at risk of encirclement and you would have to split your main assault forces in order to defend areas that you have taken from the enemy in pursuit of your encirclement plan

I hope a dlc of other fronts comes out

@@MoisTeaGaming that would be nice some time later this year or next usually takes time stuff like that but mods could really improve the game make it interesting and last awhile, majority will loose interest quickly in coming months because not much content is on present state of the game I played 36 hours already beat it two times by each side not much to do anymore other than watch others play on RU-vid

Barbed wire is a tech. that has to be researched. Presumably AI isn't using it because they haven't gotten that far in the trench part of the tech. tree.

Hello :) Throught this campaign it's been wanting in terms of verdun , but you shall see in the next episode whats happening;) . I don't think anyone can confirm if calias can be propperly encircled , I think we need to find out :)
