Very few women on this planet as cool as Mrs. Osta! If I asked my girl to take a 3 hour ride with me to go on a recovery mission for a Sherp in the muddy bush of Moose Camp, she would have injured herself from laughing at me so hard!
Awesome, Cari to the rescue. Next year for the moose guys but lots of great experiences. Beautiful area and that fog rainbow was something else. I'll be waiting for your next video to see what you are up too. Thanks from Ontario
Sometimes the best stories are the ones where you break or get stuck real bad! Moose or no moose looked like a heck of a lot of fun, thanks for taking us along. Is there a late season hunt? Or deer hunt you could take us along on?!
You guys really need to try a BAE systems Hägglunds Bandvagn... The canadian army has some, so they shouldn't be unobtainium over there. They aren't the most fuel-efficient vehicles ever made... (EHUM =D) Man do they ever go offroad, though...
Ancient Ford 2.8 V6s with carbs and old-timey mechanical slush-boxes doesn't sound impressive, and the fuel mileage is simply atrocious in deep snow, they are however also amphibious and having long tracks as well as the rear-end having driven tracks as well makes them seriously impressive in all types of bottomless terrain.
I can not believe you were towing with a static line vs a YANKUM Rope 😮esp with those metal things on the end of the static line 😮call Alan and get a 7/8” or Argi rope for the sherp s weight ☺️😉
Well rats no moose this time, but one heck of an adventure, hunting camp with family and friends is about as good as it gets, and give me a funny fun loving country girl who can tow vehicles over some face painted plastic bimbo any day 😂😂😂
Nice quater million dollar sherp train rolling through the mose bogs ! You should invest in some bunt ropes aka kenntic ropr their way more forgiving in these type of sitution i dont gonin the woods anymore without one !
It's nice that you had another sherp to save you but what if a guy in your same position dropped 200k on a brand new sherp and it left him stranded. No way a normal person would get that thing out
Just found out that a sherp is 175k, That's more than a quarter mill in the middle of no where. It's equipment like this that makes me question where the money is going. I don't know much about heavy equipment, but I don't think you should be getting a stuck clutch that easily if you spend that much. BUT I DON'T KNOW. lol I'm a car guy, not a offroader.
I've owned 3 Sherps, and I've enjoyed them all, but I don't trust them, or my mechanical skills, enough to go deep into the country like this for just this reason.
What Do You Do With These Sherps ATV Vehicles, Especially If You Have Owned Three Of Them? Do You Use Them For Your Work? Mechanical Problems With Them? ARGO is now making there own Model of this type of vehicle.
I really did enjoy your videos, but I can see a lot of problems. How come there’s not a winch and it really sucks you guys never even saw moose and you’re bragging about that area and you have like five hunters really
