CoN is actually a good game. There is a gold mechanic, that can make paytowinners stupid overpowered, but there is an unwritten rule to only use it on classic full-world balanced scenario. That rule is mostly in Call of War, same thing but in WW2. In CoN, there are fewer pay-to-winners in general, so have fun.

Yeah, it's a game like Call of War. Real time multiplayer strategy. It would actually be really entertaining if there wasn't a shitty microtransaction mechanic. It makes it Pay2Win, because everyone who has enough gold can just buy endless units. But a non-gold game is still pretty good.

@@gebdemedici I've never played CoN or CoW, but in Supremacy1914 it's very possible to beat most golders with strategy and skill, unless they're mega-whaling (1,000+ dollars) in which case you just roll over and die. I've personally beaten someone who spent a couple hundred dollars destroying my fortifications province by province until I'd built up my air force enough in secret to stomp on him, gold or not.

I mean Italy was pretty bad but this is mostly on Germany, it's impossible for Italy to win North Africa alone in MP and they probably had to hold the Allies in the south alone as well meaning they didn't want to leave units on VPs. A mistake, but an understandable one, unlike not making a fucking army as Germany and failing to even put 1m casualties on the Russians.

We would have been bombed so hard by the Germans, we didn't have anywhere near enough AA and the British would probably backstab us and refuse to give us Northern Ireland as Churchill offered before.

@@Cruiserczcz Not really. There was the Belfast Blitz after all. Though really we should still have joined in on the war. The Nazi's Luftwaffe was already incredibly limited and I doubt they'd prioritize Ireland over the UK. Even if they did bomb us to oblivion, we wouldn't have been a significant threat to them and it wouldn't be worth splitting the Luftwaffe like that. The main reason why we didn't get involved is not down to fear of being bombed and more to do with de Valera (Irish President) being a twat. He was honestly closer to the Nazi's than anything else, was close to the German minister Herr Hempel, he believed Hitler would win the war (apparently, according to his deputy and other high ranking political members in Ireland) and the *AMERICAN* minister despised the Irish government believing them to be conspiring with the Nazis. After the war however, much of that history has been revisioned and censored. The worst part in regards to Ireland and WW2 however is how afterwards, and still even to this day, those that went to help the British in the war, as quite a few did, were hated for going to help the English, and rather than being praised or remembered for their service, they were treated horribly after they returned. I think their graves have even been attacked/destroyed a few times. In saying all that, Ireland was not on the Germans side. They did help the Allies, particularly when in it came to D-Day. (However de Valera never thought the US would get involved and probably decided to switch to supporting the Allies after that was the case.) I'm Irish myself by the way and studied a lot of Irish history in college and I don't know if it's just Ireland but it's disgusting how twisted Irish history is here. History is taught in a very biased, specific way and not many know about how events really went down. It's really presented in a way to make Ireland look better than they truly were. And if you every say anything that isn't singing Ireland's praises, you get attacked. Bloody patriotism... (But yeah, fighter escorts were only necessary for large scale attacks against heavily defended areas like London. It wasn't rare for there to be long range bombing runs without escorts. It would especially be unnecessary for Ireland which had no radar or airforce. Even if we got British fighters, we wouldn't have trained pilots.)
