I eagerly expected videos on Comparators.

MUCH easier to use any 3 pin voltage regulator , and use the center pin as the output . It then becomes a current regulator, regardless of the load or the supply. Thats what I use to use as a battery charger.

Thanks for the through and well thought video. Can you explain in detail how the transistor will not exceed 50mA, isn't Ie dependent on Ib ?
