Operator Academy tutorial on how to spray paint you brand new airsoft helmet.
Materials needed:
Flat tan or green spray paint (Must be 18 years or older to purchase)
Painters tape
Netting or mesh (if you wish do to a scale design)

No, when you try and glue the helmet after it's been painted the glue doesn't stick to the helmet itself. It sticks to the paint which doesn't adhere very well.

If you spray paint the velcro, the velcro won't work as well.

Yeah those are the ones I was talking about. They are sold as black helmets in the town I live. I might buy a couple and paint them (acording to the costumes the actors wear at the time )

its easy, just take the weapon apart and spray each piece individually. and depending on what arena you play on most, if its sand, then tan, if its indoor, and they use wood, kinda lighter brown, if its in a forest green, etc

bike helmets (skate ones) not the aerodynamic ones are used sometimes too so that would work. im sure iv seen training videos of people using that helmet style. mainly when fast-roping out of helicopters or rappelling

so instead of putting velcro on then covering the velcro why don't you put painters tape over the spots you want to put velcro on, paint it, then add on the velcro after?

Dan Schena dark brown is more for forest gameplay with dark green mixed in for a woodland camo maybe.

Because I live in Australia and it is easier to buy a bike helmet. I would use the helmets as props/costumes for my actors

One advice is to put matt cpear coat over it. No need to use flat paint than and it protects it.

Easier to use woman's fishnet stockings. the elastic makes it far easier to leep the pattern uniform instead of having folds in the netted bag used here in the video. also can be bought for a dollar(plus you get 2)
