I recommend Faith in Others by opeth. It's a gorgeous track filled with emotion and epicness. And I also recommend At wits end by dream theater, an excellent example of the balance between emotion and aggression in a song with a perfect arrangement that's really dynamic and alive. I think you would enjoy both of those songs very much
Happy you did all the songs. Ghost Reveries is a Masterpiece! I would recommend the Heritage album next, it's an underrated album. You could try The Devil's Orchard, Haxprocess, Famine, Folklore or just any song you want. Have a great week! Cheers!
Been into Opeth pretty much since they started. One thing that strikes me is always how mature they sound. There's absolutely no cheese or camp with Opeth at all.
You're a prog-head so I guess you're familiar with Haken. However, if you're not, I highly recommend them. I don't really know where to begin since I've discovered them just recently. Let's say Haken - A Cell Divides or some older stuff like Haken - Cockroach King
Regarding their newest album, if you want to hear how finish off an album in style, then you still need to check out All Things Will Pass. Probably my favorite on the album =)
