Annabelle Mitchell - Melbourne based actor represented by Ignite Elite Artists, performs Ophelia's "oh what a noble mind" monologue from Shakespeare's Hamlet.
O, what a noble mind is here o’erthrown! / The courtier’s, soldier’s, scholar’s, eye, tongue, sword, / Th’ expectancy and rose of the fair state, / The glass of fashion and the mould of form, / Th’ observ’d of all observers, quite, quite down! / And I, of ladies most deject and wretched, / (F) That suck’d the honey of his music vows, / Now see that noble and most sovereign reason (F) Like sweet bells jangled out of tune and harsh, / That unmatch’d form and feature of blown youth Blasted with ecstasy. / O, woe is me T’ have seen what I have seen, see what I see. /
That was actually pretty good, especially your eyes conveyed a lotta emotions, you should do a lotta theatre you are gifted but doing more theatre will help you perfect your craft
You’re incredibly articulate! Great work! I’m a filmmaker filming a script that is largely based around Hamlet, (The Fool | A Villains Story) it’s a cross between that and Monty Python. I’m looking for actresses to read, and you’re perfect for the role of Margery. If you’re interested we can exchange information and I can send you the script to see if you’d like to be involved.
