I remember my friend's stepdad bringing us to Red Sox games back in '98 and 99 when we were in middle school, and he would always be listening to this radio show in the afternoon on the way to Fenway, we lived in Manchester New Hampshire so it was like a 45-minute drive and I used to wonder who it was, then 7 years later while I was working in college overnight delivering newspapers I was listening to Opie and Anthony on XM radio. I realized early on that those were the same guys I was listening to on WAAF when I was a kid. So cool how everything comes full circle like that.
Just imagine how this would have took off today with social media freaking out. Someone really needs to take up the O and A mantle and run with these pranks in 2019. Holy moly.
