Exactly.. Jimmy is right on here. Theres ALWAYS an excuse for those people. Unless you have been around or lived with someone who is "mentally ill"....you will NEVER know...and be gald you haven't had the expeience. Its always an excuse and a "pass" for acting like assholes...and trust me...these people use their "illness" as a crutch more than you know.
What pisses me off is when mentally ill/handicap people want to be treated like they're normal. But when it comes to getting discounts at restaurants, theme parks, etc., they have NO problem being mentally ill/handicap.
I'll never understand why those who call in and talk OVER the host keeps on babbling away forever. They can not be heard, how do they not know this? They listen to the show.
I have panic disorder and probably some other shit that wasn't diagnosed but i don't fuckin butt in on peoples shit, if anything i keep more to myself. Don't challenge jimmy he is a fuckin debating genius.

Is anyone else feeling a little self-concious right now after listening to this? Wondering if you may be a little selfish at times? I mean I've never had or done any of the things described here, but it's kinda making me think about how I treat people. Then again, if I'm actually concerned about the people in my life, I guess I have nothing to worry about.
Who on earth are these me me me mental patients that jimmy talks about. i know a lot of bipolar depression people do that but there are people out there who suffer in silence. You can't hate on them.
He is referring to the affect that their situation has on the people around them, not only the things they do directly to other people. And he isn’t saying it’s every one of them. Also, there is at least a 50/50 chance that this was just a veiled excuse to rant about Opie.
