That omg is from Alana. They made her cry so bad. Hahahahah. I think its randy and Alana. There response to jocktober is classic. They destroyed them.. Hahaha.
@@tonytomei1175 Thanks for the heads up Just found it I appreciate the recommendation Is there any other subject that O&A covered that I need to listen to? You have any other favorite moments?
In the first 3 minutes, the Opster stumbles over a reference and fails to make it, has to ask the meaning of an obvious phrase, shows off his improv skills with "raaaaaar I'm Salt!", repeats himself, uses an ear-rapingly annoying screeching cadence, and uses slang to try to sound cool while just sounding like somebody's grandpa. This is in the FIRST 3 MINUTES alone.
Look, totally understand the Opie hate, I think I just feel bad for him. And by the way, ANYONE should laugh at the recap you just wrote up. It had me HOWLING.
Also reminds you that he has had his nickname since he was 12, and thus never had any choice in not going by it since childhood nicknames are legally binding for life once a person hits puberty.
They never brought up the point during Jocktober phone scams that the reaction to "the reveal" is the person always immediately recognizing the show name and hence that it's a prank. A real reaction would be, "Who?...Salt?...Karson and Kennedy?...the radio?...Wicked Wake Up?...a prank call?...oh."
No you Don't get it! The show is so popular and so big that people talk about that particular radio show around the water cooler multiple times a day. Its a big part of peoples lives. Like "did you hear what Salt did at the freedom trail today guys?" Or "oh my god you should've heard what KKKarson did while his wife was on vacation guys!". They're like a part of the family or celebrities they are friends with. So of course they recognize instantly when someone hears the names
