ever notice that opie likes to take calls, then the gang gets to talking about something, and opie just leaves the caller on the air, and often the caller will try to interject things or make points, and they are just totally ignored, which just annoys me. Hang up the phone. Or better yet, don't take calls. Calls are the worst. and I do realize this is a compilatioon of old shows, just venting.
Tyler Jones I feel like that's just part of the beast tho. It was a radio show, not a podcast. It was fueled by audience participation. People seem to forget the context of why opie being there as the "radio guy" was important.
I'm sorry, but when you listen to clips like this and hear the amazing banter between Ant and Jimmy, how can you possibly consider the current Opie-driven dreck coming out XM to any of these classic moments??

How many times are they going to repeat themselves, like that they would rather hear about a soldier with fake legs running the marathon, they must have said that same sentence five times. They also need to get from story to story more quickly and not drone on. But entertaining enough.
