I think Caruso knew exactly what he was doing and it made Horatio Caine an iconic character. Because sometimes.....something is so bad...(sunglasses)...it's good.
I can't stress this enough. The greatest radio duo of all time would be Patrice and Anthony. Holy shit those two make gold when they get together. Rip Patrice
James Moseley Patrice was the goat when it just came down to being funny on any format. Also him and Ant literally could talk about ANYTHING! They would have great serious conversation and they would still end up making the shit hilarious. I was so bummed when Patrice died. I literally a few weeks before had bought tickets because he was gonna be coming to Cleveland. And I was scared to take my girl because I didn’t want him to attack us lol Miss you Patrice.
I love how that exploding barbecue grill produced a fireball big enough to cause that cop to fly and gain lift like a hot air balloon but caused zero damage to the grill itself.
This CSI bit was the first time I ever heard O&A on the radio. I was about to go to school, but I decided to sit in the car and listen instead. I was 17 at the time. I couldnt believe how funny these guys were. Ive been a fan ever since. It was a shame it ended how it did. I never predicted it ending like that.
7:50 it's been nearly a decade since I first heard this clip, but I will never forget Patrick's incredulous "WH-WHAT!?!" at heading how bad this show's writing was. I also love how he proceeds to break down the entire formula within 5 minutes.
ToruKun1 what an esoteric reference LOL. I had to Google it. I'm kind of interested in his books now. I'm not planning on ever being a character actor, but I'd bet they provide interesting insight.
Patrice works in show business, and comedians act in movies/TV all the time. Patrice himself has several credits on TV shows and movies. So it makes sense he would be aware of acting terms.
@@MartKencuda Have you heard the one where he just plays a Family Guy clip instead of contributing something funny himself? You can hear the awkwardness of everyone in the room as they're thinking "Why is he just playing a Family Guy clip?"
If Andrea Yates had lived in Miami: "Well Frank, looks like this mother threw the baby.............out with the bathwater...." _YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!_
It’s raining and he is under an umbrella and he still puts the sunglasses on. What would be funnier is if he did this every episode then after the commercial break he is never seen from or mentioned again the whole rest of the show. He just does that Walsh off and then other people handle the case and he is never mentioned until the next show.
I wonder if Patrice knew that David Caruso was married to the actress who played Edna Hockett in Friday The 13th Part 3 when the movie was made, Friday The 13th Part 3 being the one Patrice specifically mentioned that he loved.
Did anybody see that Roger Daltrey episode where everybody had to pretend they didn't notice one person wearing a bunch of different Halloween masks throughout the entire thing?
Oh man opie was so funny in the beginning of this! said his line may be in all the comedy clubs, but you know it was too brilliant for the average comic to think up.
@@Thunderchild-gz4gc im just trying to spread the word about this particular morning show. They have ripped off a fuck ton of material. And now that one of their hosts got cancelled for being a creep they have went softer than Howard.
What would make the show even better is if Caruso did his thing at the beginning and then you never saw him the rest of the show. And nobody even mentions him as if he does not exist. The. Next show the same thing. .
I don't know if they explained that this is the intro thing that he did. It's not like this was happening constantly throughout the show. Those lines were his "Live From New York...."
Kissai Sith Jen'ari that's an accurate description of how silly this idea was. They expected people to take this seriously. SNL hasn't made me laugh this much since the 90s
"Or maybe, brutallyhonest123, your sense of humor went out...............................with the Macarena" "YYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! .................................................We don't get fooled again!!! Don't get fooled again!!!"
What happens when CSI MIAMI mushes with Swan Lake? (I haven’t got this right yet, so forgive me if this sucks) Horatio and Siegfried see Princess Odette being kidnapped by Rothbart Horatio says to Siegfried: Don’t worry Siegfried. I’m gonna help you get Odette back. Since Rothbart dared to kidnap your girlfriend and turn her into a swan, he ruffled the wrong feathers (Puts on sunglasses) 😎 Mine YEEEAAAAAAH!
