I don't think you know what bum rushed means

Jimmy is such a coward, his worst fear is being assaulted so of course he supports Kenny's heavy-handedness. He was the only comic of his ilk to have a full time bodyguard at every show, he must have spent a fortune on kenny for his peace of mind. All the other comics used to make fun of Jimmy for having kenny with him at all times. It probably gave the worm a sense of importance too.
