Why the fuck is Jay Mohr so fuckin disrespected and underrated? He is one of the funniest comedians EVER. Bill Burr, Eddie Murphy, George Carlin are obvious legends of the game, but God Damn Jay Mohr is top 10 of all time. I am sure that I am alone with this opinion.
I agreed with you until he called the cops on Dice Clay about an on air beef (during O&A show) and then finding out he stole a story from Bert Kreicher about drinking being high with Tracy Morgan. Lost tons of respect
@@BadTiger I hear ya on that, but dice Clay is not on the level of funny as Mohr. I personally dont like Bert either. Maybe thats why I easily overlook those incidents. Lol. Plus I have heard hours and hours of jay mohr on O&A. He is fuckin hilarious, but I feel you on your reasoning of why you lost respect for him.
Dice, probably at an extremely low point, made a threat to Jay Mohr in a call with Mohr's pregnant (now ex-)wife and scared the shit out of her. He said Jay would "be in a million pieces", about a month after 9/11, and made her cry. In comedy, this is a serious foul; you don't fuck with another comic's family, because then all bets are off. If you listen closely to the show where they confront Dice about it, Dice eventually realizes he can't win, and starts trying to win Jay back with jokes and levity. Dice knows he needs to apologize, but he also CAN'T break character; it would be death for him. It's pretty amazing radio actually, and holy shit; it's over 20 years ago!! Anyway, that matter and the Bert story thing eventually were settled. For the most part, I mean; Bert claims Jay threw him up against a wall, but Bert is not a reliable narrator by any stretch.
I just realized that there's no reason to cut the Kevin Federline song because no one cares enough to copyright-strike it. The "label" is just happy anyone is playing it.
He's really funny, but also really insecure (that's my theory). That's why he needs to be funny all the time and to do that he uses other people's material. I think that's the reason he's not more loved.
