I feel like jim only cheated on one or two girls but tried to talk himself up like some bad boy that couldnt control himself. It seems like hes always playing mental chess with people and in his mind its going to make him more appealing to women.
I agree. The whole sexual deviant persona that he invented for himself is nothing more than a thinly vailed attempt at being interesting Tedious as hell, really.
That's why I continue to listen to these guys. I've heard all of the funny moments and I enjoy the listening to those moments but now the most entertaining part of the show for me is how flawed the people from this show was. Are you a newi listener ?
@@jessdckey7712 Newish. I lived in NYC when they were in their heyday and there was a WOW sticker on every garbage truck and cop car :-).. But I listened prior to Jimmy joining and didn't think it was funny so I ignored it. I re-discovered the show during covid and I'm a huge fan of the chemistry that Anthony and Jimmy had but sometimes he just gets way under my skin. I can see the appeal of what you're describing though. Makes sense.
@@robbetts i started listening around the time Anthony got fired so I had already heard about fans hating Opie. Almost every person on the show has gotten under my skin at one time and honestly Opie has the least. I think it's just because I came into the show expecting him to be a D bag.
@@robbetts it's cool.to hear that about New York because I've always wondered how popular those WOW stickers really were. I kinda thought they were pretty big in New York though because they always had a good seat in that market and that's obviously far more important than any other market
