MattyT33 to call him a video editor is taking credit away from the person who actually edits his videos because I’m certain he doesn’t even do that much
Opie was like a 5 year old in this break. He just kept saying the same thing about walking the elephant straight back over and over again until someone said yes. Like a temper tantrum.
I remember when his show first started he was in a park and he "split" a woman in half, and then she freaked out and bolted using her arms as legs... Would've been better if the same woman hadn't been on another show in the same network about the day-to-day life of people who lost half of their bodies...
Jesus, Opie talking over everyone. You’d think he could just do a show by himself. Fast forward to 2019, and his podcast gets an average of 500-700 views on YT
Jesus christ, that's not even magic. Any random jackoff can do Criss Angel tricks. It's not like that sleight of hand stuff practicing thousands of hours... it's just being a dick.
This episode is a perfect example of how bad the show had become toward the end. Opie's dream is to do this kind of radio. He's extremely close to achieving that goal too.
I was like 10 when Mindfreak debuted and even I thought his tricks were bad. I went to magic shows as a kid and know/met people from that world. Chris is a hack.
"The boys" & comment section are both right. Plain & simple- Magic is a dying artform. The advent of technology and online content alone encompasses the whole enigma in which Magic derived its thrills from. People get exited about a really good magician still but its a dying Artform...
LOL ok, I usually hate Sam. but @ 39:20 he finally delivers a great line. short but sweet. that one made me laugh immediately. usually everything he says falls flat.
I wish Jim Norton was funny. Saying the same "put a gun in your mouth" comments were funny the first 2 or 3 times, but after the 1000th kill yourself joke it's time to move on
Criss Angel also has a live show... its pretty good. Listening to Everyone tell Opie he is wrong about how Criss is doing the tricks is even better though...
The most annoying thing to magicians, or at least to me, is people going out of their way to prove that magic is fake. Generally speaking, no magician claims that magic is real, even hacks like Criss Angel. It's like replaying a wrestling video in slow motion and saying, "See, he didn't really hit the guy." Yeah, no shit. Plus any of these guys would be fooled if they saw this trick in person because they wouldn't have the option of seeing it multiple times until they pick up on things they missed. That's the entire thing about magic. The idea is to be quicker than the naked eye, not quicker than the internet.
First time I saw a Criss Angel show I was only like 13 and within about 3 'tricks' I could tell the whole thing was staged, as in these aren't actually 'magic tricks' performed by a talented magician/conjurer, they're using camera tricks and the 'audience' paid actors. Dynamo is better.
Ahem, but Dynamo does everything Criss does, IMMEDIATELY after Criss does them. Criss walked on a lake, then Dyanamo did, same with walking up a building, etc. Criss does all of these tricks in his live show anyway, Dynamo doesn't.
Used to like o&a but the older I get the less I'm starting to like them....but individually they are terrible....how Sam and Jim are a thing blows my mind....Sam Robert's voice sucks and his love for wwe is sickening

My friend was on vacay in vegas and was part of that elephant disappearing act. He's a massive skeptic middle aged man and it was not fixed. All magic is fake but this is not fixed.
deeditmane Fake = no supernatural powers involved (which is obvious, as the supernatural does not exist), i.e all 'magick' tricks. Fixed = the actual trick itself is not a magic 'trick', the 'audience' are all paid stooges, or the 'trick' actually uses camera trickery and only works on TV.
They already broke this act down somewhere. They pay the people off and hide the elephant behind a fake background. Edit: Oh, it's in the video. I have a good memory.
But then what is the point? If you see a show like Penn & Teller, it's amazing because it's not clear how it's done. You leave the room trying to figure it out. This guy's entire show is camera fuckery.
I'd LOVE to see you guys talk like this WITH Criss himself. But you'd never be that brave, he'd prove all of your theories wrong. He doesn't say that his magic is real....NEVER has he said that. He sets up fake scenarios, as platforms to present his tricks, that's all. This is to make sure they go smoothly for television. This is a SHOW, he never said any of it was real.
They aren't "fake" shots, they're zoom in's on where you'd be misdirected in reality. The only reason you guys figure anything out is because you have the power to rewind the video, unlike you'd be able to in real life. The fake audience is to eliminate the risk of real people getting too excited to be on TV, and ruining a trick. But these tricks can be done with a real audience, go watch his live show.
Absolutely not. He of course did this trick in front of celebrity friends and family, who were in on the secret. For god's sake Shaq levitated a basketball at the end of the episode the same way Criss would - everyone there knew. But Criss does to same illusion to himself, in his live show. He levitates 5 feet from the audience. If another magician knew how to levitate Shaq with no camera tricks, I'm sure Criss would dare them, because no one else can.
This is kinda dumb because they're talking as if Chris was trying to sell this stuff as real. It's magic, therefore trickery. C'mon! Hence the BeLIEve title. Must have been a slow day 😂😂😂
