Sam Roberts is truly terrible on the radio. He jammed himself onto the air for years. He has a terrible voice and he thinks he’s the shit… he is just shit.
NGL I laughed when Opie asked Po when is he gonna spin kick Sam's head to see if there's candy in it. I been on an OnA kick lately and I actually been finding bits and videos where Opie isn't derailing the show. The first 5 or 6 years with Sirius he's not as bad cause you can tell they're not faking liking each other as much as they would as the show went on.
I love it. Ol' Greggshells saying that another person can't take a joke...These days everyone is scared to even lightly joke on PinOpiehio because of how terrible he is at takng a joke. Hey Opie, project onto others much?
2004-2013 was filled with opie being comfortable enough to project his own insecurities on others without worry of it being stuck on him. Now its terribly obvious... and hilarious!
The only two things I genuinely love that comes from Opie is him twisting something in a way where somebody that has been wronged should apologize, and brutal caller hangups.

And Gregshells opie hughes telling someone ELSE to learn how to take a joke might be the SINGLE biggest hypocritical statement I've ever personally witnessed. Except for Anthony soon after telling Sam that maybe it would be best if Sam "shut up". That statement is one of the most TRUE statements I've ever personally witnessed.
If you don't understand it or know much about the show, then you probably shouldn't try and correct the loyal fans who have listened to everything and can relate exactly to what he is saying. Opie's ego, sensitivity, and ability to step on amazing comics rants with going to callers is one of the things that sadly led to the downfall of the show.
I would go into DEBT for ten years to see master Po beat up Sam and Sam's mother call in begging him to stop so she can come in and coddle and comfort her baby with his own cut hair that she kept in plastic bins for a decade or more bc they had a very...."unhealthy' relationship

I find it hilarious to this day, that those 2 lil words "Nobody Cares". Can make folks so enraged. I take great joy in that. Try it sometime, just find a lil piece of paper jot down a few words, and leave said sign where someone thinks they care...... Tee Hee.
Ant: "I think Sam has a little bit of an inflated sense of his self worth here" Opie immediately cutting Ant off: "go with it" It's so nice to look back on this, to look back on how Sam managed to screw the two over. Ant refused to throw his actual weight around and tell interns and the help when they're not needed or to take a break. Opie smugly showing his deck of cards in how he constantly threw his weight around to get Sam out of trouble and into pseudo power. Neither of them created an actual fair environment of competition all for a few moments of chuckles at the staff's expense and look at what came from it, it bit them in the ass and they became the butt of the joke.
How did Sam screw them over? He had his own shows on Sirius after Ant got fired and then Opie did. He had nuttin to do with them getting fired or did anything to them. He's still friends with Ant and does a show with Jimmy. Of course Opie hates him but Opie hates everyone.
While I hate Sam and Opie, there's nothing I hate more than a fake tough guy who can't take a joke and constantly tries to be the toughest guy in the room.
Did anyone ever confirm Sam's ethnicity? I heard in one clip they were getting a genealogical DNA test done for him but I didn't hear anything else on it and Oapedia doesn't mention it either.
