Opie only contributed sound effects. Some give him credit for moving show along but for every time Ant and (insert comedian) went on a little too long there are 10x the amount of Opster stepping on toes and ruining bits.
I'm not a Star Wars fan at all, like I know the story and all the characters and all that, but even I know that the Star Wars Christmas Special was GARBAGE!!!!!

Cant wait for Disneys re-purposing of this Gem. I find iT funny people HATE Lucas for bleeding the franchise dry yet Disney wont be happy till there isnt a penny left to be had. The new movies are not any Better they just have a Broad, a Black fella and Modern effects. THATS IT! Lucas had the original vision you dopes. like OPIE had for the Original radio program.
This was made right after Star Wars was released to coincide with the Holiday season. For the kids. Lucas was a hacky sell out right from the very begining. Lucas *never* cared about Star Wars, if he did he would never make this shit. If he DID care about SW (rather than just saving face), he wouldn't try to deny this shit existing. Boba Fett COMES FROM THIS. He wasn't planned for SW movies, he was SHOEHORNED INTO EMPIRE. TO APEAL TO CHILDREN. He was so popular to kids watching the holiday special that they added him in for the sake of being popular to kids. And yet the prequels CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT HIM, as he was written to be the entire basis of the clone wars (Boba being a clone of Jango, who is the one making all the clones). If Lucas had his way, all knowledge of the existence of this special would be removed from history-- this would invalidate the prequels and anything else that REQUIRES Boba Fett to exist. Although, just the idea that being canon in SW (according to Lucas) was ANYTHING written by ANYONE as long as it doesn't contradict the original trilogy or other fanfiction already established as canon. In other words, acording to Lucas' own critera, the prequels are non-canon for contradicting the first movie. Star Wars fucking sickens me. It should have died with Return of the Jedi. Nearly all forms of SW media after it ranges from rediculously childish to just plain terrible. Most of the games are pretty great though, but they're not good enough to justify all this shit we have now.
He’s said from the beginning he was just making childrens movies. The fact that you care so much about a kids movie says more about you than it does about him.
