It's always the funniest part when Opie plays ALL the sound clips that we've heard over 100 times before. Genius. Simply genius. I'm surprised he doesn't have a television show of his own right now himself.
Opie thinks that soundboard contributions are _his_ comedy. Throwing scattershot, poorly-timed clips in is bad enough, but when he gets into soundboard mode he actually stalls the show so he can go looking for more.
He doesn’t understand that something isn’t as funny the 4th time you repeat it. He will always beat a bit to death and pummel the audience with the same joke until the funny is ruined
