Opinion on TE Mason Pline After STRONG First Impression At 49ers OTAs 

I was geeked up on Pline before the draft. I said to myself, there's gonna be alot of teams who pass up on this guy because he's not the fastest. Sometimes a slower blocking TE who can catch, can be the PERFECT fit as a 2nd string TE on the other side of the O-line, hitting those underneath gaps in a defense for an unexpected catch. Pline is a PERFECT example of this. 🧨🧨 Niner Gang!!!!

Larry I watched all 33 of his 2023 receptions. If he can put 2 hands on it hes got it. The hand eye coordination is incredible.

I think Eli Mitchell gets traded. I hope it doesn’t happen because he’s good but so is jp and has less injury problems, and I think they realize they have something in Cody Schrader, possibly Isaac G. being moved to FB on practice squad… if he passes waivers…Idk. Guessing completely. Just Cody Schrader is just… idk why he went undrafted. Well I do.

😂 Krueg is fair n interesting. Sees good in players. Laborn, Awatt, Manning, Waege, etc. But none last yr UFAs made team this yr. Lombardi is fair, some points explains what team is doing salary cap wise. Cohen might be a Niner hater, nothing done is right, draft, practice, etc...Hopefully, Niners can find some gems. But Niners haven't found many starters in UFAs or draft. If Snead is telling some truth, hard for newbies to make team, no real competition. Assume, coaches have preferences or prejudices or reasons for keeping players (draft status, proven ability vs potential, salary cap, etc..). Might be hard to make practice squad, have to pass waivers, other teams poach players. Weird, Niners biggest need is O-line. Williams is 35, he could retire anytime. Need L-OT successor. Center or R-OG or R-OT should be upgraded. Niners did address O-line in 3rd n 6th rd, but look like OG types. Strange, Niners trade a pick to SB rival, the Chiefs used to pick an OT. WtF? Niners fix for SB loss, is another WR. Niners have 10 WRs in camp, but only have 5-6 WRs spots on 53. Let camp battles begin. Niners might find FAs, when cuts begin. But any addition, means someone else gets cut. NFL = Not for Long League. Avg NFL career is 4+yrs. Its a tough life.
