@@stevekima8881 Really? Why,they are not pulling out their credit cards to help pay for the entire Wedding the Wedding dress included.. They need to have several seats and support the bride 👰. I am happy that she STUCK to her decision and did not change for anyone. She is a 44 year old woman and she knows what she wants. She was very confident and considerate when she asked her Bridal party and mother to come. She should have just brought her Mother and left the Bridal party at home and maybe even the Mother because she was not supportive of her daughter vision. You can tell that this Bride is not a FOLLOWER but an LEADER and she stuck with her decision..If they did not want her in a Pink Wedding Gown then they should have pulled out their Credit Cards and Paid for it( WHITE WEDDING GOWN ) then that would have been CONSIDERATE of her,being a FOLLOWER. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 NOT!!!!

This lady is amazing. So many of the brides on these shows cry and complain that their mothers don't like the dress. So?! She's a grown woman, she values their opinions, but ultimately she's doing what she knows is best for her. And most importantly, she didn't let anyone dampen her happy mood. I really admire her.

Her entourage needs to remember 2 things: 1] at her age she knows what she wants and 2] it's her wedding so deal with her choice. If the bridesmaids don't like it, they can stay home.

@@kathimorrical9912 The only reason I can think of is to let them fuss and get it out of their system at the shopping event to forestall the same reaction at the wedding. By the time the time the wedding rolls around they should be resigned to her choice. It is her day after all, so it is time for them to accept her choice and give her their support.

Oh my!!! I held my breath towards the end. I was SO relieved that she chose her baby pink. There would have been nothing but doubt and regret if she hadn't. This is a beautiful, confident girl. Life is for living and, at a special time like this, I am so glad she did not cave in to the pressure. PS gee, she took their constant pressure and criticism with grace!

The second dress was OVER DOUBLE HER BUDGET! She said 2000-2500 and was put into a $5622 gown! That is not the only fishtail gown in the store! I would leave an appointment if I found out my consultant even pulled a dress double my budget! My entire wedding budget is the cost of that gown. I would be so upset

The first gown looked best. The strap detail on the gown she chose looked awkward in the way it connected to the bodice. Love the way she decided on her pink without any hurt or rancor toward her "support" group.

Ha ha, I love that when they think they are getting their own way with an ivory dress they are all "oh look at her smile, she's glowing" etc but suddenly when the same dress is going to be in pink they start back-tracking. They looked so smug when they thought they'd 'outvoted' her but she stuck to her guns, hoorah!

Imagine trying to tell a 44 yr old woman what she can and can't have. Imagine being so selfish and obnoxious that you almost ruin your daughter's bridal appointment with what you want instead of listening to what she wants. Imagine thinking that any of you have any fashion sense whatsoever. I was SO happy that she stuck to her dream, it's just a shame she didn't stay with the first one, she loved it so much and it looked stunning on her - but of course everything looked great on her.

When an entourage is asked to come with a bride when she chooses her bridal gown, they must remember that it is not they who will be wearing the dress. They have to set their own wishes aside as they will be there to support the bride in her choice. Tell her if something is really not right, and know that she may have wishes for her dress that may not be what you would choose. Because you know and love her, you can see when she knows she is wearing the right dress for her.

At the end of the day, it is ultimately the Bride’s choice as she has to wear it. At 44 she has had a lot of years to decide what her dream wedding should be. Take note: If you go wedding dress shopping with somoene, it's not about your taste and vision, and about you pushing what YOU personally prefer. It's about the bride and what SHE wants, what's her vision, and then finding the best dress that fits it. People often forget it's about *the bride* and not about what THEY like.
