Welcome in today team! Hope you all are ready for Gecko Moria & OPO6! It's going to be a very fun meta, so many new deck profiles + builds, and old decks got new cards. Can't wait to dive into a whole bunch of stuff. In any case today we take a look at Gecko Moria and how strong this deck can be in the current format. I'm certain my locals will be full of Gecko, Perona and kata decks, so I cant wait to see what tops. Although please dont get this deck confused for Sakazuki, they do similar things. Still though, Sakazuki does it better. Gecko doesnt have access to bottom decking, so decks like Reiju and kata have a pretty solid time against it. I did have fun with this deck and of course i'll be building it to take to locals to get games in, so stay tuned for that. Up next is OP06 Rebecca, dont miss it! I’ll be honest! Saka, doesn’t tend to do well. Not that he’s bad, people just don’t tend to care about watching saka games. Considering the ban list, I’m not sure if I will go into depth for saka this set. It’s hard for me to be like “yeah buy this leader, play this…etc” when he’s getting banned. But currently Moria, is definitely very fun to play. He’s got a similar feel, different take on the plays. Still a lot skill, and worth the time into it
At 5:15, for Perona leader. after playing 8C gecko and popping helmeppo and ryuma. Can you activate leader ability to rest a 4C or less before the ryuma on play effect.
This is a terrible set for new players. 2 of the leaders, Perona & Gecko Moira, require 200$+ for x4 SR’s Which is ridiculous! It makes no sense that those SR’s are more expensive than most alternative arts. Realistically you can build both decks without them, it’ll just be a bit tougher. You can go navy 5c hina blocker, more 2ks, 2c rosinante blocker (black navy one) Cerberus 2c thriller bark blocker as well. Or you can replace the Borsalino with the op05 Rebecca blocker, that will allow you to cycle sabo from trash over and over in the late game.
@@PawsePlays these are all awesome choices! I have a bunch of black cards. I'll just experiment and read up on al lthe cards and see what synergizes best together to where I can maybe avoid the Kuzan and the Borsalino. otherwise I think i might just try to build a yamato deck instead lol
@@DubstopherWubson13 I can understand that, it’s getting super expensive for new players. I can’t push “hey get this card it’s really good” when the price is absurd for an SR. Supposedly they’re reprinting sets, which will help all players coming to the game. But we’ll see!
