@@Komfo_Adu the old format was elitist, theoretical and exclusive. The format attracted only brilliant and theoretical rote learners. However the current format is more innovative, open, practical and all inclusive. Contestants need not only be brilliant but smart and intelligent as the questions are more STEM based. Ask for the quiz mistress, she is the best for the current format considering her background as a Bio-medical Engineer. The previous mistresses were coming from Botany and chemistry backgrounds. Also the current innovation and rebranding of the competition has now become entertaining, nationalistic and attracting corporate interests and sponsorship. In effect the new format is impacting STEM education in ghana unlike the previous one that focused on only theoretical science and maths syllables.
@Mari JataI am saying it based on a brutal facts of reality. The competition has evolved with a wider participation and audience over time. In the past format was just for the elite schools and sponsorship was minimal while the questions were straight were more theoretical. The current questions are more applied and of course the reason they score low points. Although the previous quiz mistress was exciting, the current lady is the best for the moment and no doubt she needs to be appreciated.
@Mari Jata subjectivity is unscientific and nonfact based as callers expressions may be based on emotions, personal feelings or opinions However the organisers and the consultants will consider their selection on the basis of objectivity metrics before arriving at their choice of a quiz mistress. It is also interesting and worthy to know that the quiz mistress was discovered and recommended by the old quiz mistress as the best replacement before her exit.
Herh these boys are good😂😂😂. They solve the maths like it is just a class 1 work😂😂😂😂. But also their questions are too easy to answer as compared to these days questions

But thise days they gave them a chance to give another atempt but now we have only an atempt. They have to allow the contestants these days to attempt until they are belled out

They used to favour presec. Listen to the question on 17/16 chromosomes and the corresponding one to presec. It's too obvious both schools should get 2 mark each. But he gave owass....1 and a perfect mark(3) to presec.
