When I spent a year in the US, I was moving wood in the garden of a friend and I saw an opposum. I looked at him, he looked at me... I could feel the wheels in his head pondering if I was dangerous. I said "hi", he fainted ! (Of course, that how I remember it, but I found it really comical when it happened)
Nah after you didn't find him the 3rd day he thought "wait... am I sure it's my turn to hide?" And he's been looking for you ever since. Don't lose hope it's just a miss understanding.
Possums actually go into a little coma and also give off a smell when they're having panic attack, which really sells the idea that they're dead. Who knows, maybe the dad IS playing dead😂
that's not a normal possum anymore.... *That's an Undead Lich Possum!* literally transcended Play Dead Pro Perk Possum right into a Ledgendary jobclass
@@martinwong8326 Fun fact: There is also another bat named Batrick in the short about the Bear cat who is much older than the Batrick in this short. So either this is Batrick when he was a child or this is Batrick Jr named after his father.
That probably might be Batrick. He’s one of the many reoccurring characters in the series. There’s one where he tries to sneak chewing gum into class but all his peers And His Teacher attack him for it. There’s one of him drinking an endless mocha on a cafe ceiling pouring it all over the White Rabbit below. There’s one where he gets a talking hot chocolate. And there’s one where he’s in a virtual meeting.
@@user-wolfman_lets_play Yes, which is *exactly* why one shouldn't take it _lightly_ . 😃 Ya know, because it's _dark_ and not _light_ ? No? Okay, cya! 🏃🏼♀️💨
My dad and I really love your content! He's legally blind so I usually have to hover over his shoulder and read him the fun facts, but he can't get enough of your channel - especially the "mouth..." sequels 😂 Thank you for the humorous content!
The creator did an excellent job at creating the characters and their voices ❤ I'm 30 but still hooked on this from the very first time I saw their short🎉 THEY ARE ADORABLE 😍❤
Roses are red, Cacti are prickly.. It started off cute, But DANG THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY😳. EDIT: I’ve come from the future to say NO you can’t steal this. Ps. Ik a lot of ppl have alr stole it
@@xceptionalartist6266 ... not to be insensitive or anything, but those are bare white bones. In a shaded spot like that, that's taking, like. Months. Maybe years. Momma Opossum's gotta get a handle on her grief, it's well past time to move on.
@@benstevens44 Maybe she was crying about something else. Perhaps she was crying over a relative of a close friend of hers. A crow with glasses who was tragically murdered. You know what I mean right?
Oftentimes Possums get scared of cars and play dead in the middle of the road. It's completely involuntary and in this case, assuming that they don't get hit, they can remain like that for well over a day during which time their bodies stiffen as if rigor mortis has set in. I believe this is because they briefly wake up then get scared again repeatedly before they have a chance to loosen their muscles. On more than one occasion I've pulled over and checked a possum in the road only to discover that it's uninjured with it's tongue hanging out and the strong smell of death. On another occasion the body was totally stiff like a statue. In both cases, however, the possum eventually woke up a few hours after being removed from the road so I make a point to always do this when it is safe enough to do so.
The scary thing is the way they pose themselves results in something incredibly uncanny. I remember pacing by the pool one early morning, and a possum played dead when it caught me. It curled up like its neck was broken, and after about an hour of my mom and I thinking it was alive, we actually had to speculate whether it was playing or not, it was such a good ruse lol
Also fun fact: Cats, dogs, coyotes, and even some birds will urinate on a opossum playing dead and leave. They do this so that when the opossum stop playing dead and goes home, they can follow the trail to eat it and it's family if it wasn't really dead.
