Hey everyone! I just wanted to share some good news with you all. Let's just put it this way, the Ten Commandments are called the Moral Law. Ask yourself this. How many lies have you told? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever used God's name in vein? Have you ever hated someone or ever looked with lust? This is for you to judge yourself, but chances are that you are a lying, thieving, blasphemous, fornicating, adulterer at heart and you HAVE to face God on judgement day. Now ask yourself this. If God judges you on judgement day by these Commandments, will you be innocent or guilty? Of course you'll be guilty because we've all done these things. The truth is that none of us are good people and we NEED God's grace to make it to heaven. We judt simply cannot do it on our own. These Commandments arecalled the Moral Law. You and I broke the law, Jesus payed the fine. So now what we must do to be saved is to repent of our sins and trust alone in Jesus Christ!! To repent doesn't mean to just say I'm sorry, but to turn to Jesus and let Him truly be our Lord continually. If He is our Lord, He will lead us away from sin and into righteousness. He said that many will say to Him, Lord, Lord I have done all of these things for you. And He will say I never knew you. Depart from Me, ye who work iniquity! And those will be cast into outer darkness and raging hellfire and loneliness for all of eternity!!! Because we broke His law, He is very, very just to send us to hell. If someone had murdered 4 people and said to the judge, I've done nice things too and have tried to treat people nice but it was just one time, the judge would then say, okay but you're going to jail. And the judge is very just to do that. One last thing, if you were 10,000 feet in the air and you had to jump, you wouldn't jump out and flap your arms and try to save yourself. That's ridiculous! You would put on the parachute. It is the same with Jesus. You must trust Him as you trust the parachute. We are not good and we cannot save ourselves with our own goodness. We must trust alone in Him to save us. In just a moment of time you can pass from death to life. Jesus said, "Truly, truly I say to you, you must be born again." That is how we enter heaven. Through the blood and grace of Jesus Christ!!!!✝️If you ask someone how to enter Heaven, they will most likely say, "Be a good person." Well the Bible says that “none is good, no not one.” We like to compare ourselves to guys like Hitler and say, "Hey, I'm a pretty good guy compared to him." But when we compare ourselves to God's standard, we realize that the Bible speaks truth when it says that we all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God!!! When we see this (our sin in its true light)we see how much trouble we are in and we say, "Well then there's nothing I can do. I'm going to hell for sure then." It's true that there is nothing that WE can do, but there is something that has already been done for you! God sent His One and Only Son to die on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins! So to recieve that eternal sweet sweet forgiveness, all we must do is repent of our sins (meaning to continually turn from them and confess them) and trust alone in Christ as you trust a parachute. If I was to push you out of an airplane, you'd want the parachute for sure! Don't try to flap your arms and save yourself, trust in the parachute! His finished work on the Cross IS ENOUGH!! He is the only way to Heaven, He said it Himself!! These other religions teach that we must he good and do good things and then maybe if we've been good enough, we will enter Heaven. But if that is true then we are all doomed to eternal hell because none of us are good. That's why this makes sense. Look at the Ten Commandments, they are written on your heart right now!! I promise that you have violated them. And you might still be doing that today. Therefore God is just to poor out His wrath on us because we deserve it!!! But Christ died for us so that we can spend eternity in Heaven with Him! Turn to Him today, and He and only He will save your soul "Verily, verily I say unto you, you must be born again ( to go to Heaven)."✝️The true joy of Christ dwells in me!!! Does it in you? I know where I'm going when I die! Do you? I have an ETERNAL victory! Do you? I have more joy than ever because of what Christ has done. I have been down both roads. The road of the wicked and the road of Christ. Christ is way better and my cup runneth over with true joy and salvation. If you do not know the One true God and are not sure of your salvation, I promise He will never fail you. Turn to Him in repentance and faith. Repent means to confess and forsake your sins, never turning back to them. I tried changing on my own but I couldn't. It took the power of Christ on the inside of me to do it for me. He will give you a new and clean heart with new and clean desires and you shall be born again. A new creation in Christ Jesus! I’m sorry man but the plot was great. It just required knowledge of the Oppenheimer case, Cold War, the Manhattan project, and the political life of Robert J Oppenheimer. There was a reason the film didn’t advertise itself much, the target audience isn’t very large.

I’m just super happy that Cillian Murphy’s name is going around much more now. I had no idea why the hell people rarely said his name despite him being one of my favorite actors of all time, he’s played in numerous Christopher Nolan films, and Thomas Shelby was a badass. I think it might have something to do with him playing his roles so well. That’s something that most actors really should strive for.
Oppenheimer is an amazing movie. I love how they didn’t add any current political or racial issues, but just kept it a story about a man who created something so horrifying, it devastated him for the rest of his life

I’m sorry but you are so completely wrong its baffling. Try to think outside the political issues of your own country (which I’m assuming is America) for just one second. Do you not see the importance of nuclear detterence advocated for in the movie. Yet the majority of Americans stills sees it as the right call to bomb Japan twice and aren’t aware of the threat nuclear war poses. It even mentions the huge american political issue of capitalist indoctrination that hinders the work of free thinkers and even gets them killed (in the country that supposedly supports the right for everybody to express their opinion)
@@denusklausen3685 I’m Japanese and I agree with dropping the bomb. It ended the war quick and probably saved our race being exterminated. Otherwise, we would have fought to the death. Many of my ancestors died in Hiroshima, but I believe it was the best and only option to end the war as quick as possible
Nolan is my favourite director hands down. Post scriptum: I suggest to fellow newcomers "The prestige" and "Memento", respectevly from 2006 and 2000. Both are really underrated and both are inspired from novels. They are not for a casual watch and they get even better after a rewatch
To anyone that hasn’t seen the movie yet, please watch it in the cinema. It won’t be nearly as good if you watch it at home a couple months later. Trust me
I know about oppoenheimer a lot because of a game called "God of war 2" who was made in 2007 and had an Easter egg about him "Now l have became death, the destroyer of worlds" which gave "red orbs" to upgrade your weapons
The prestige is one of the underrated one from all nolan's movies imo. And it is my favourite among all of em. Since you mentioned it, definitely gonna watch it then

i saw the movie last night. the use of audio in that film is literally perfect. a wonderful blend of silence to sounds so loud it makes your body tremble. added in the visuals he adds in on top of how the film isn’t based around reality but rather the psyche of Oppenheimer as he lived through it. truly masterful
As a physicist, we learn a little aboit Oppenheimer. His "Now I am become Death, destroyer of worlds" sends shivers down my spine to this day. We learn about how any discovery will be made into a weapon, and inevitably, some of those weapons will br amongst the most horrific, destructive things ever conceived. And the scariest part for everyone: Every professor who talked about Oppenheimer and our responsibility as scientists said that our generation would probably make a weapon that makes nukes look like firecrackers if we aren't careful. Incidentally, we also learned how to make nukes as part of the Thermal Physics course.

5/10 plot was not smart. Citing someone imagine reading a wikipedia article and add image to it. 3rd hour of the movie was painfull. Movie lost its way and Nolan did not manage this movie well. To everyone that will proceed with "You didnt like it cause You did not understand it" or "You expected explosions"... Yes movie was about a guy who created an atomic bomb i EXPECTED a bomb. To be honest it was one of the most realistic and yet underwhelming explosion ever in the movies history. I will stand with this. People that say that this movie was great are afraid to be called stupid. Be honest with Yourself movie was suprisingly boring
@@qzg7857 agree with some points. It wasn't the most dynamic and I actually also have questions about the explosions' execution. But the dialogue and acting and most of the visuals + my interest in the topic made me turn a blind eye on some of these and still love it

The detonation scene was very well made. You know how it's gonna end but your heart is still beating like crazy. That shit was great honestly. First time I went to the cinema in years as well

@@itssquarkI hadn’t even heard the name "Oppenheimer" in my life before going to watch it, and I still understood everything. It takes nothing but maybe a little bit of interest and emotional investment to realize how good the movie is. And a little knowledge of cinema to spot the incredible things that were done with the music and the actors’ performances.
I just was at saint johns usvi and i got to walk up to the house where the bomb was developed. It is on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world called hawks nest!
Oppenheimer helped reinvigorate my joy for science as a whole. The awe, power, and exploration of it. After all the stress and worry, i was starting to lose sight of why i wanted to be a biochemist.
I loved him as Scarecrow. Wish we got more of him & sadly Heath’s Joker (who was also supposed to have cameos in Nolan’s Batman movies; there were supposed to be 4-5)
i watched this short and watched a veritasium video on it and went to watch it in cinemas. I was shocked to see how fast the story progressed at the start, i brought my cousins with me and they slept for 3 hours. The reason is that the story assumes you know about openheimer and for people who don't know, they're just "watching a bunch of smart people speaking" said by my cousin
It makes me so frustrated that there’s nowhere in a 50 mile radius of me that is showing Oppenheimer in 70 mm film :( I don’t know if I’ll ever have the opportunity again
