The OPPO Enco Air 3 Pro is definitely an evolution from the OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro on most accounts, but it does seem to fall short when it comes to how it handles its call quality. This being the only real issue with it after all this time. Its a great performer on a sound front as OPPO has always been and I see this lasting for quite a while, even well after the warranty is over.

Hello Paul, love your work. I would like to ask how you feel is the best transparency between the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro and the Enco Air 3 Pro? Really interested in these buds and transparency is the tie-cutter for me.

I am using enco air 2 pro, the ANC function of Air 3 pro is up to 39Db (is it really superior to Airpod pro 2? compare with the noise at the station and the bus engine sound) and transparency accurately capture voices and surrounding sounds? Air 2 really feels awkward when used for a long time, does surround sound upgrade the movie watching experience with 4D effects? Is the air filter effective when using a motorbike? Headphones with an in-ear structure do a very good job of blocking wind from fans and the outside environment, but does the Enco Air 3 do this well? (looking forward to your feedback)

Have a look at earphones that support AptX and LDAC support. But I've noticed products like the oppo and realme that have LDAC but they seem to have a mechanical bottle neck rendering feeding them with more data quite useless. The one set that's a genuinely good Hi-Res performer is the Yamaha TW-E3B. It's properly portable audiophile grade stuff and affordable too. Check out my reviews on it if you haven't already.

@PaulsPOV In term of sound quality between tangzu wan'er sg and oppo enco air 3 pro which one is best? I know both are completely different products, but if it only comes to sound quality which one is better?

I prefer the tangzu over the oppo any day. It's quite rich in detail. Unbelievable for something that costs as much as it does.

Hi pauls 👋 i have already kz castor harmon and tanchzim zero iems. And i have one option to buy between (oppo enco air 3 pro or fio ka11 dac) which price is nearly same 3500rs. please tell me which product sound is great the air 3 pro or dac + iem ?

As much as I like the oppo enco air 3 pro, I prefer IEMs over anything wireless. They tend to have way more detail and nuance in music. If it's convenience you're after, the oppo is the way to go, otherwise having a dedicated DAC should sharpen up your IEMs over all sound.

I got the Enco Air 2 pro at launch and they are still going strong. Conversely, my Realme buds air 3 died in 6 months. The left ear bud stopped working completely on Realme.

That sounds about right to me. The longest I've had any wireless earphones was about two and a half years or more and it was the oppos that usually lasted that long. I'm pretty sure they're using good cells.

I haven't tested any headphones in this price range just yet, except for a set of TOZO headphones I'm reviewing right now. I have tried a set of Soundcore headphones a friend had, which was sub 5k, and it did leave me quite impressed on a sound front. They're making good sounding stuff.

If you're okay without ANC and you're not a fan off bass, the E5B is a great buy. It's tuned to be truer to music, so isn't bass enthusiastic or bloated like a lot of mass market earphones are and is terrifically well detailed for imaging. So if you're a purist, the E5B will be a nice buy, if not, the lack of bass and richness might be putting off for you.

No. It'll shift back over to AAC if a secondary deviconnects to it. LDAC holds if it's connected to just one device.

I saw one review where he says that in iphone and samsung the ldac don't operate(Ldac only on oppo realme and oneplus). So i have a iphone can i use the ldac?

iOS devices only transmit SBC & AAC codecs. Not LDAC, so it won't be possible.

If its Hi-Res you're after, you can go for a portable DAC / Amp and a good set of IEMs. I've got reviews on some. If you want wireless, the ones you mentioned should work fine with your iPhone. The enco air 2 pro has been one of my favorites for a long time. I haven't tested the CMF stuff.

If you get into the IEM world, you may not want to pick up your oppo again. Consider looking at my reviews on the Simgot EW200 and iFi Go Link. Superb combination.

Tws have different use ,u can't always wear iems as they are not that convenient plus iems are not recommended for long continuous usage imo especially if they are bright

@@PaulsPOV I am actually using boat Nirvana ion. The sound was fine for me and the battery life was excellent, just that the fit was too bad. Pops out of ear by itself while talking. So needed a replacement. Would check your review 👍 hope I find something better.

It'll work with iOS devices without a problem, but they don't broadcast LDAC, only SBC and AAC. So, if you intend on using Hi-Res audio with it, the codecs will be your bottle neck.

You'll get more features with the newer models. The Z2 I had did have some ANC hissing issues, which was a widespread problem. I'm not sure if all models that are available have been sorted of this issue, which is another reason to pick up a newer model.

ANC will work. That operates from the earphones side. It doesn't need a phone for that and dolby atmos or spatial sound has to be switched on from the realme link app. The app works fine on my iPad so should on an iPhone as well.

I had this problem with the Air 2 Pro. This ones housing seems a little smaller, so I don't have that discomfort or pain like I did with the previous generation. Yes, a smaller housing would be nice.

I haven't tested the X2, so I can't really comment on it...but considering their hierarchy, the X2 should be superior.

From this list, XM4, Nothing Ear 2, JBL Live Pro2, Earfun Air Pro 3, Oppo Air 3 Pro, and JBL 230NC. I haven't tested any Soundcore products just yet. Getting a hold of the X2 hasn't been easy, so I doubt I'll be able to get my hands on a set.

I am looking for a new tws under 10000 and want best audio but confused between xm4, nothing ear / ear 2, oppo enco x2 (already used for few months and they were best for me till date), earfun pro 3.. If i give 100/100 to oppo enco x2 audio then samsung buds 2 pro is 98/100, oneplus buds pro 2 is 75/100.. rest others i haven't tried so was confused should i re-purchase oppo enco x2 or something else is there with similar or even better audio under 10000 rs..

I have OnePlus buds 3 trust me call quality is just superb, at 60km/h speed while riding my voice can be heard clearly in calls (with some little background) but yess its call quality much better than oppo @@xxvish24xx
