Not really, you have to like the thing you are holding in your hand by feel and looks... plus there are other factors like the screen, the feature set, the durability, cameras etc...
I have r9s and it's killer sd 625 is great for power efficiency that's why battery is impressive 4g ram is plenty for response I think they did a good job
OPPO used to make such durable and overall great and unique phones before with their Find line. now all they do is make iPhone clones and hope they sell.
Alex De La Rosa they sell a lot, beating xiaomi, huawei, apple and Samsung in China. I like the old oppo, but money talks. Still, u can find the reminiscence of old oppo in oneplus.
Alex De La Rosa how many sources would you like? Im on my phone so ill just get 3 for now: www.google.com.au/amp/www.gizchina.com/2017/01/23/oppo-r9s-hits-20-million-sales-milestone-keeps-selling/amp/?client=safari www.phonearena.com/news/More-than-20-million-Oppo-R9-and-R9-Plus-handsets-have-been-rung-up_id84689 techcrunch.com/2017/02/05/oppo-topped-chinas-smartphone-market-in-2016/ There a plenty more if you want to google for yourself but oppo is doing very well for itself right now. Also in australia they are expanding so rapidly in the 2 years they have been here...
J Chris Tmg Yeah but the camera, flash and antenna lines positioning within the body gives the impression of an Iphone 6s/plus clone, which kind of is with nice specs and desing... NOT LIKE IT NECESSARILY IS A BAD THING.
Just tested the camera now with my friends and damn! It's so clear and I decided to buy later. Just excited to get this one and will be using for Fifth Harmony 7/27 live tour.
Hang in there dude. That was our story when we were starting. This is a consistency game, so keep pushing yourself. Keep the dream alive. In 2007 they said we were crazy.. Here ya go ;-) ^JR
Somu GHOSH when you look at OnePlus and OPPO they are like day and night.OP is like a buy on a Android side and OPPO is catch on iOS side so they have good strategy but I would never use it.
Jaime- Why is the key of your PN intro different from the other PN videos? International Encoding issues? I notice this difference among movies playing in different parts of the world.
I bought one. Very happy. Battery life and quick charge are both amazingly good. Feel and quality is higher than most Chinese phones. Negatives are no NFC and a couple of software quirks (need a couple of swipes to access notifications which makes it feel clunky).
Now used OppoR9s and I say it's a very good phone when it comes to camera and I am satisfied everytime I posted my photos on Instagram it's so damn clear.
nice review! im an oppo user myself and very much contented with their products. i had the f1s before now i have the f3 plus which has the same specs as this one.
Oppo R9S is a surprisingly good phone for the price. And their VOOC charging is insanely fast. If you can't get the OnePlus 3 phones, the Oppo R9 and R9S are great alternatives.
This is a great pathway for iPhone 5 or 6 users to migrate to the Android Community. Snapdragon 625 is snappy, the OS is fluid even if it's a skinned one. The camera is decent, if not then great! I think Oppo actually has a point on this one, they're targeting migrating users.
DarkPa1adin 10>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>R9s . I just looked even if it's Android it's just a copy of Apples iOS. Pay 50 more and get HTC 10 it's a really good phone.
I think despite the copying of the chinese companies, they actually bruild pretty good hardware, and once you get used to the software, its actually pretty good.
Looks nice but one of things that keep me from buying this phone or some other Chinese brand phone... is will it get software's updates? security updates? anytime soon after they come out? I use my phone for everything, banking...Amazon ... credit card bills... paying utilities.. I hardly ever turn on my computer anymore... my point... updates are important to me... one of the reasons I bought an unlocked US HTC 10 is because of this... and it's on the January sercuity release and so it's worked out well here in the states.
It's soo damn sad that Oppo has reduced to this when 3-4 years ago the OPPO N1 came out and was a complete shock to everyone. Like one of those one hit wonder rappers we don't hear about anymore....
corey pilgram First, the 835 isn't even out in a phone yet and won't be until the S8 is released. Second, the 625 is more like a midranger Soc with power efficiency as a main priority while the 800' series is always the best of the best at least in raw performance. And third, idc for who was the question i can't sleep and this comment section lools promising.
Wow and I used to think Samsung was good at copying.. This is the next level when it comes to hardware and software copying PS: I'm an Android user who had the Xperia X10 as his first device, then the iPhone 5s and now the Xperia X... so not biased towards Apple
OPPO used have unique designs like the Find and N series (I had both the Find 7a and N3). Now all they offer is iPhone clones smh. I truly hate that antenna line design.
