I'm not in the market for a phone (just got an S23+) or any other tech but I never miss a Tech Spurt video and always watch them start to finish. Chris is hands down the most watchable reviewer on RU-vid.
This is what i need for now; I cant think of any other upgrade from my samsung A04s. Love your videos... top notch content. The phone costs about 53000 Ksh here in Kenya. Cheers 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
i got my reno10 today... upgrade from oppo find x3 neo. watched your review before i decided. Brilliant channel. Arse end , wobble action - other reviewers take note
Being in the market for the last week for a phone that was bigger then my now iPhone 11 Pro. I decided to go with the Reno 10. Great video very informative and glad I don’t make the wrong choice
Hello buddy I saw this video 📷📸📷 wow 🎉🎉🎉I've brought it ad a fantastic brilliant awesome amazing deal on black Friday 🛒 I've been looking for ages a mobile with a SD card slot and thx 🙏🙏🙏 to you I found it many thanks 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍 buddy keep up the gud work and I luv your videos 🎉🎉🎉
I still having my Reno 2,.. AMOLED screen, IPX4, 50MP main cam, pop up camera (angle one) so you get clean and full display, 256gb capacity still awesome!
I have just bought this phone yesterday quite impressed coming a 3year old Samsung A71 5G. The colour is beautiful Ice Blue 💙💙 this review swayed me to go ahead $537 AUD from JB HI Fi
great review, balanced and comprehensive. just bought one for AU$500 as there has been a price drop, so definitely the best buy within the mid tier segment right now
How are you finding it? Jb have them for around $700 and want it for the camera over my iPhone 11 Pro Max and want a new phone but can’t justify the apple prices
I have the OG Reno in storage and now use the Reno8 Pro. Bought the OG in 2019 and changed to the Reno8 Pro in 2023. The only reason I changed was because the battery life was starting to wane. The phone was still as good as the day I unboxed it with not a blemish on the screen. I was actually prepared to change the battery but they required me to hard reset my phone so I decided to get a new one if I had to go through a new phone ritual for a battery change. People who pay over the odds for these big name brands don't know what they are missing in the Oppo brand. I have converted a few people to the brand as well.
My first own oppo, used to borrow my friends oppo budget phone a while back. Can say the old budget phone is a pretty solid build. Looking forward to this phone. So far this phone's camera is impressive. But the battery is quite hungry compared to the honor x9a. But charging is faster.
Me up all night researching that phone and then your video told me it's camera is similarly crappy as my Samsung A52.. I hate IT... So now I'm rethinking my choices.. Love you're review by the way very informative in the exactly right points
Great review, thank you. I am still using Oppo Reno 8z but I've had it 3 years and am either looking to get a newer model Oppo ir a complete change, so I've been finding your reviews useful. I definitely would put memory expansion near the top of my list of wants, camera zoom options are a consideration too, with my current Oppo delivering excellent results a 2x, but pictures are pish poor any higher than that.
Just dropped my A94 5G I've have for 3ish years and it's slowly turning purple on the whole screen with a big green line going down it. I've had a few oppos now and I've dropped this one countless times they're very strong phones and I'll definitely be getting a Reno 10
Just bought one, just sad that it does not have an official IP rating, but I found that it has a rubber seal on the sim tray so it's possible that there are some level of water/dust proofing
Just bought this phone. The 8gb ram is expandable to 16gb. Which is really good for heavy users like me. But it drains the battery faster from observation. Also that expandable memory is also a plus for me.
The Performance from oppo Reno 10 is much better than iPhone 12 mini. just saying the critic of Mediathek compare with others is on a high level. A normal user who change his mobile not every year, can really be fine with this phone.
I had the same experince upgrading from my broken 12 mini to the reno ten 5g I also noticed that the reno ten 5g was faster then my old 12 mini. I think its the cobination of the high refresh rate display, mediatek proccesor, and 8gb of ram which can be expaned to 16gb
How does this compare to the Find X5 from last year? I reckon they're about equal but all things considered given that this is a newer model and still on par with the X5, does the X5 outshine the Reno 10 because of that? Which camera is better? How does the Mediatek compare to the Qualcomm Snapdragon for performance? I'd love to know your opinions!
This new Oppo is one of those phones that has as many good points as bad ones. a protective case would be a must as the phone wobbling around the desk would drive me nuts but the one thing i am no fan of is Mediatek chipsets, they always seem to underperform At a launch price of £399 it is very close to a few other phones including Samsungs A54 I refuse to pay full retail for anything, so i will see what is available on a deal, wait long enough and they all drop in price, which the Google 7 is about to do.
The Reno 10 is available, I just used my early upgrade for it because I can't see the X5/6 or Reno 10 pro plus being available anytime soon (at least through upgrades, these phones still aren't on oppos official UK site though 😢)
Does what I like oppo is doing the best phones ever hi-spec loads of storage another same time CPU is great memory RAM the same battery absolutely amazing I have a oppo Reno 2 CHP1907 I use this phone for the last 4 year When I said I use it I use it on line of work today still the same. Absolutely the best phone I ever have. End less don't forget this is a budget phone with high spec as well. A big shout for oppo absolutely amazing work I'm looking forward to save some money to buy another one now.❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
A genuine question is the european variant differnt from the middle eastern and indian and asian variant cause i brought my version and it came with the 3 pin charger as well as a tpu phone case which does the job of protecting the phone only issue is that the case starts yellowing overtime with use so its gonna last atleast a year depending on use 🤔🤔🤔.....so really are there differnt variants for differnt countries
Hi there mate, I am in the market for a new phone and trying to decide between the older OPPO Find X5 (not the Pro) or the Reno 10 5g, what would your pick of the two be?
What I don't like in this phones in these days they have a dot on the screen which is the camera obviously I prefer to have the whole screen clear the best thing like back on the days. If they could do that they will be absolutely amazing. Big shout for oppo amazing job
With such a beautiful finishing, how midrange is this phone? Too bad you never had a camera rolling during that cat situation that would have been a great video.
This isn't midrange, it has topped my iPhone 12 mini what have a Big meanig Form me. My telephone Speaker are lot Times louder than the iPhone, 📷 Camera is much better than iPhone, it runs faster as the bionic number they Made in the iPhone 12 mini and much more. Battery ist perfect i cant compare it with the battery losing from 12 mini anymore.
Decent phone for the money (£279 % 24 months credit on Oppo store UK) but it's not a Find X so dont expect the laters' performance. Battery life is gorgeous and the Dimensity 7050 is fabulous for day to day operations. However after every couple days use of the Reno 10, it makes me appreciate my Find X2 Pro even more. Good phone, just dont expect a Nord 3 or Reno 8 pro performance for your money.
Nothing Phone 2A, this one, Motorola Edge 40 Neo or Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G? I can have them all at the same price, therefore I can't decide myself. 😂 I need the help of you lovely fellas!
I'm looking for a good phone that doesn't brake the bank but runs quickly good battery life and good quality I've had a Oppo a52 for about three and half years I'm in Australia but I'm not sure what to get anywhere between 300-750 AUD
I am in the same boat, and in Australia. I went to a local JB to check out some mid range android phones, and tbh, they had some great features, but the cheaper they get, the crappier the cameras, and the cameras were so bad. This Oppo Reno 10 does look cool, but the camera bump on the back to me looks so ugly and cheap, and too futuristic looking lol I want what you want, but something not so cheap looking, and more professional looking.
No protective condom case bundled in the box? I couldn't understand what you were saying here, please translate !! even the closed captions on YT translate exactly that !!!! 01:00
Idk why he says 'condom case' but he's done so for years. Maybe he uses that phrase instead of 'protective case' for comedic reasons coupled with it being part of his brand/signature that identifies his uniqueness ? Or maybe it's related to his channel name 'Tech Spurt' as in a condom case helps contain all the technological 'spurt' fom escaping 😂
i guess so. its a pretty big phone brand, and their software is definitely pretty good. but id say the best android experience is still held by samsung
@@byeolboi really? Damn have I been hiding under a rock all this time? I've only used Huawei but last time I updated was in 2019 when they still had Google services
@@FutileGriefI use to be a die hard Huawei fan until the Google ban & I had to search for an alternative. I'm in Australia btw & Oppo came on the local market around the time of the ban. I liked the look, features & value for money, they had a similar vibe to Huawei so I thought I'd give them a go. Glad I did cause now I'm hooked on them, bought 5 different handsets since 2020 & still using all of them. Great quality phones, software & support IMO. As an alternative to Huawei I think they're very similar, i've been extremely happy so far.
@@Eye_of_Samadhi wow thank you so much for that thoughtful response! What is your opiniom on the camera? I'm using a Huawei P30 with a Leica lens and it has an amazing resolution.
