Opportunities and challenges of benchtop NMRby Morteza Ghomali 

In this meeting Morteza talked about the opportunities arising by development of benchtop NMR instruments in industry. Benchtop NMR instruments retain many of the qualities of their parent techniques, such as being automatable and fast, allowing for higher sample throughput and greater scalability, but they have also addressed some of the previously noted limitations. In this regard developing chemometrics methods for analysis of complex matrices by benchtop NMR is an indispensable part of this area of research
