It was a time when I thought, I would meet Oprah Winfrey, but I've given up hope that I might meet her in my life time. But I have always admired her from afar. I've followed her and know she came from humble beginnings. Admire that she remain humble, inspired by her success, bc without God she knows she couldn't be as successful as she's become. So happy for her. God continue to bless her in every way it's needed.

A few years ago, Oprah said she was changing the interior decor drastically to be more laid back. These are pictures of how her interiors used to look. I don't think she ever showed the end result of the redesign.

I always think I’d be happy in a mansion because I’m a huge introvert and I can put everything I need in my home. Then I realized I really only use three rooms in the house - kitchen, washroom and bedroom. Mostly the bedroom

Why are people picking on Lady O she worked hard for what she has. The only thing I am very upset about,I am a pensioner. I have to count my ever penny. Lady O you had a ad on tv of the fat melting product and said all we have to do is send the postage and the fat burning product will come to us. To my amazement that was may, the charges made e 144.96 plus 322.87. I have not received any thing. In my heart I. said. Lady O would never do something like that.The product was Ellen gave you a gift and you had to do was get 5 000 bottle to give away. I am ver poor dont have the kind of money. I was curious because it is so wonderful. Pls can u see if the company can give me back my money. Thank u Lady O.

I remember watching The Oprah Winfrey show when I was just a little girl. I love The Promise Land, it's stunning. ButI got to say I love her the best when she played Sophia in The Color Purple. What an outstanding performance that was!!

Let me tell you, Oprah brought Weight Watchers and not only rebranding it but she made it affordable for the average person. She is fully involved with it and often has conferences on wellness. She has done a wonderful job. Did you notice the paintings in her home, I know why she doesn't show her home much and she shouldn't. She probably has state of the art security.

Wow, after seeing 3 of her houses, it was too much for me. I don’t think I could handle all of this. I am sure she has property management who can handle this for her, but all this is making feel uneasy somehow. So much wealth. At least she is helping a lot of people around the world, so that’s nice.

@@robbycharmed Yeah I'm like you. Maybe 2 homes and 2 or 3 cars would be more than enough. If I had her money I would go across the nation getting all the homeless off the streets and into homes. I would also assist disabled vets, abused women, children and men. Oh yeah and seniors that are in need as well. The only thing I would spend a lot of money on for myself is traveling all over.

I bet a house that size helps to protect her and keep her safe and makes her feel safe. Imagine being as famous and wealthy as she and then living in a 2 bedroom apartment? I was wondering why she ever felt the need to own a castle with just her and Stedman and the dogs and now realized that it is the only way she likely can be safe and secure. I hope she does great entertaining and has lots of loved and respected friends to enjoy and share her homes with. I'm sure she does.

I like the fact that some very rich people have large and elegant homes and other things. On the one hand it can be an encouragement to people who have great aspirations. Good employment is provided for many people. Large amounts of property tax go to the counties.
