Ellen was nearly speechless when the one and only Oprah Winfrey suddenly appeared via satellite! She was then in for an even bigger surprise when Ms. Winfrey invited her to appear on the cover of "O" magazine!
Kendra S Oprah role modeled to all the talk shows since her, how to give back to the audience. The View does it now, Dr. Phil, Ellen ! It just was not done on a talk show before "The Oprah Winfrey Show "!!! Also, she introduced us to and gave Dr. Phil, Oz and others a foot hole into celebrity , etc. by first featuring them on her show. Hope that educates the young ones , about how it all began!!!! Thank you, Oprah, for being , it seems, the Worlds Most giving person of great notoriety!!! YOU brought it here! Also, Oprah changed the landscape of talk shows in many other positive ways, such as making women; and young men feel good about themselves!!! Kudos MS. Kosciuosko , and Way Beyond!!! . man, I absolutely adore Ellen, she is such a sweet and caring person...even though I don't know her personally I actually wanna do something for her the way she do things for other people to make them smile or even change there life

I'm sure Oprah already knew what Ellen wanted (cause she notoriously hates surprises), but I do think Ellen was genuinely surprised that Oprah popped up on the screen during her show.
Paul Pfeiffer really. She has alway been attractive even as a child she was adorable and as a teenager and young reporter and now that she is over 50 she is even more beautiful. It’s called living well.
Oprah's in shock over an 11 minute hold time? I'm gonna start calling her office next time I have a problem with my utility company, bank, phone carrier, etc. She may not be able to help me, but at least I'll have a shorter wait time.

each time I watch your show on TV and tube, it bring tears down my eyes. my favorite comment of you is when you say towards the end of each show " be good to one another". you have an angelic heart. Bless you ma. I love you. from Nigeria.
So cool. Way to dream big. I don't watch the show a ton ellen but i would just like you to know that you are an inspiration to me even as just a regular straight, male. Ya know, I just have to say...I really love how authentic Ellen's reaction was when Oprah said she's going to be on the cover. You could tell she really wanted it, and the honest reaction "Are you serious?" shows just how down to earth Ellen truly is. And that is why I love her. I think she's the most real person in Hollywood. And what Oprah said about her is right...Ellen IS light.
Oprah is a one of the hardest working woman in this world, she is great people can learn from her she is so bright. I love her work ethics and her. But she has had some hard couple of years but its nothing but a fly to a titan.

I think everyone makes such a big deal of Oprah, that she doesn't know how to handle it, because EVERYONE does it. So, maybe she has grown immune to all the flattery. I've notice those reactions from her for years.
