It's the other way. People get butthurt over it being labeled a sport because they think it shouldn't. And to be fair it's not a sport. It's an esport. Chess is considered a sport too. The mind is a muscle and CoD depends heavily on strategy and reaction. It deserves the title at least in part.

prototypep4 There are those butthurt people, but there are constantly guys that argue with them and say "oh well if chess is then CoD is" or bring up definitions. No one ever gets anywhere and it's pointless. I was making the argument that it doesn't matter whether it is a sport or isn't, but I can see how it could be taken as a rant against those who think it is. I could've chosen my words more carefully, I suppose.

prototypep4 Also the fact that the dictionary definition of the word sport was made well before you could even play video games. Let alone play video games online and at LAN events. It's 2014. Times have changed. Society has changed. We're living in a world of technology now and back when the word sport was invented they didn't have the stuff we do today. People just need to accept that as time changes, society changes as well. In South Korea Pro SC games are broadcasted on TV and the players are treated like NBA/NFL players are in the US. I'm glad that eSports has been growing so rapidly and is seeming to grow more and more. 150million people watched this match live on stream. That's quite a big number, just under League of Legends types of live viewership which MOBAs are huge now and getting bigger as well. I love Basketball and Football(American) but I also love watching eSports. Don't know why people think it's a crime. And if they have a problem with it at X-Games they need to be talking to the people at X-Games. They are the ones that allowed it and supported it. Long live eSports and ball based Sports as both are fun to watch.

So they can blindly fire into smoke. Also if you see more than one person in front of you, you can kill them without the the other one knowing where you sre and then than killing that person.

***** Yes on larger maps a silencer is rather ineffective but in close quarters it's very useful and often if there's 2 people near each other they won't be able to call out the guy with silencer in time and won't hear him or where he shot from etc.
