Cronus max is what they plug into their playstations to get rid of any Bluetooth interference between the controller and the system. I think the conspiracy that killa and Damon are talking about is that some Cronus' are rigged?

Apparently some teams have found a way to reprogramme the settings on the cronus max to reduce or take away the lag.

You can install mods onto the cronus like; -Anti recoil -Jitter shot -Reload cancels

Adam Sanchez it's a USB type connecter, sort of like the PS4 controller wire that connects to the PS4. In one tournament for bo3, the controllers kept messing up because of Bluetooth and were connecting to other players console. The Cronus was the only way of preventing that, but the reason the pros hate it is because it has delay on it, making the players reaction time seem slower or miss shots, when they shouldn't be
