OpTic Yay Drops 91 Elims vs DRX to Qualify For Champions Grand Final Thanks for watching! Subscribe for more content like this! Business inquiries: teamreynaval@gmail.com #Valorant #optic #opticgaming
It was nearly 2 years ago but feels like yesterday . On paper, except for Yay, optic had no business competing with that mega stacked Loud roster, but they somehow went toe to toe in the grand final. (yes I know that they beat loud in Iceland, but it felt like loud were still adjusting while optic roster had already been playing together for over a year).
Nuh uh nAts dropped 93 kills in champs 2021 grand finals on Pure sentinel role like Cypher and viper. imagine how much nAts would have dropped if he was a old chamber main. nAts>>>>>>y0y
@@sike3634 Theres a difference between being a demon and being a devil. there is also a difference in being a good player and being the best player, being the best player doesnt just mean you are good, it means you are consistently good and yay easily is the most consistent player in the world on his performances on the main stage, there for making him the best player in the world.
@@siddhartha894 he's a french guy, that's all I know. Could you explain? Also, forgot about Aspas when making this comment lol. He's definitely the best in the world right now
the highest record is 26 kills avg by cryocells, cryo is the only guy who could take over yay in future if played consistently. cryo dropped 103kills in 4maps and yay dropped 91kills in 5map
@@lazzzy5514 When and who did he do this against? Because Yay did it against one of the best teams in the world right now. Cryocells may be able to pass yay one day, but as of now I don't see him as even close to the level Yay is on. No one really is. Maybe Aspas, but he just isn't as consistent as yay.
Yay was definitely insane that year but he wasnt ever the flashiest player nor had the greatest mvt on agents like Jett/Raze. Sucks to say but ppl inflate kind of overate his skills. Even though he was really good at chamber. He was only a slightly above average duelist, that was helped a ton by FNS and the rest of the teams set up. Thats why Aspas was able to get the better of him, in a 1v1 Aspas wins but that doesnt mean Yay isnt an solid player in his own right. and he deserves the respect for what he was able to do on Optic. I just think touting him as a star duelist was the wrong career trajectory for him post Optic, he would have made a better name for himself as a flex player going forward.
