Optimize your FM Christmas music (quick and dirty)

The issue I have is Bass overloading the transmitter. Everything is fine, until there is any bass. If I lower the gain on FPP until base doesn't overload it, the music is so low you can hear it. The interesting thing is I also have a small FM modulator for ipods and what not to listen you music over your FM radio. It runs on 2 AAA batteries. That thing is amazing. It must have a built in compressor because you can blast the audio into it and it will not clip. I tor it out of its case, and power it off the 3.3v pin on the Pi and it works great. The drawback is that I am limited on the frequencies I can transmit. I was thinking about getting a sound blaster play, because I am hoping that the chipset would let me lower the bass in ALSAMIXER. I don't want to buy it if I can. Can you do me a favor and SSH into your pi and run alsamixer and tell me if you get a bass gain? The pi's audio chip does not support this. If I could adjust the bass gain on the pi, than I could lower the bass and use the other transmitter.

Hi Jason Can you recommend a decent outdoor speaker for light shows? I found both your videos on sound issues and found if very interesting and hoping I don't have issues 😊
