I'm option buyer. There are nearly 20-22 trading sessions in a month. As an option buyer one of the most challenging tasks is, to find out on which days there will be continuous high up movement or continuous high down movement so that there will be low option decay. But, if you are buying option daily it can be disaster.

Yes. Limit your days per week. Choose 1 or max 2days for option buying. Do your research to pick the day 👍 Control your sentiment on other days, if you can't, then stop intraday trading and focus in long term only

I so much liked what Abhishek said at the end. In the beginning I too was trading agressively. Sometimes 30 trades in a day. And I was losing more than I was making. One day I decided to stop this and bring discipline to my trading. Take 1 trade and good trade. And yes being an Option buyer I too stopped trading everyday. Rather I do virtual simulation and see whether my call/put would have been good or not. Discipline is the key in option buying. Well said Abhishek. Loved your video. Life lesson

In my suggestion, an important topic for you to cover in ‘New Algo Based Trading Scenario’ is … Placing Stop Losses. Lots of inexperienced & ill-informed people are getting Stopped out of trades because they are still using traditional stop-loss techniques. In my suggestion, you should strive to educate them on how to places Stop Losses with Algorithms watching their placed stop losses and closing their trades. Regards

Very nice explanation. Option selling does result in consistent small profits. Unfortunately, it works ONLY when movement in underlying asset is small. If the movement is large and sudden, implying high volatility, then option seller will lose big time. Sometimes, the loss incurred in two big losses is equivalent to total profit made by ten or more small profits in option selling. Therefore, option selling is advisable only when volatility is expected to be low.

I am 3 years into markets, i only did short term positional trading in cash market for 10-15 days with some technicals. I recently started options just this week when on last friday i bought call option of 15750 when nifty close on 15670, and i remember regreting it thinking that 2 days of time decay is what i will get on moday, and the premium dropped and my losses rose, but in middle of monday markets touched 15750 and crossed it, i made a good 25% return, but even though i made profit, i got a sense of feel that what i did was conceptually wrong, but yet i proved my friends wrong who said you will always loose money in option buying. So, i guess its all about knowledge and skill set. Log toh mitti bech ke paisa kama lete hai aur kuch log reliance ke division mei mili company bhi nclt mei pahucha dete ! I was looking for such videos on youtube from past 2-3 days, and my you fullfilled my internal wish, thank you my captain for your guidance !

For beginners Option buy is only possible by scalping, go for only 5 point in bank nifty. go for 1:1 profit loss ratio, do it in a single candle. If profit booked, Stop trading for the day. If loss booked go for loss recovery, loss recovered and profit booked, just exit dont wait for another trade, close the terminal. You have to be a machine like emotion less at the time of option buying.

Good one, as you have rightly pointed out, Option buying is all dependent on timing of trade, personally I believe Option buying is better for Intraday trade rather than holding overnight positions due to time decay factor. So there is a factor of luck which plays in Option buying since if the stock starts consolidating then you end up in loss only

I made 6.5L in Option buying in TATA MOTORS and TATA CHEMICALS in October 2nd & 1st week respectively by the observation and conviction about Tata Motors which you explained at 10:50 time in your video about consolidation...Again parso RBL Bank dropped 8%(approx) which was very unexpected.So I got an OTM at very great premium..and Kal RBL Bank shoot up to 10% and my premium got 💥...Yehi hai Beauty of Option BUYING..Thanks to you,for citing this. I don't post my videos coz I don't want to show people my P&L but you are 200% right...OPTION BUYING se bhi acha paisa banta hai. Sirf aapko technical analysis mei thoda equipped hona padega. And Rs.2/- ki Pepsi was a cherry on the cake in this video.

One thing that I want to know, heard that option sellers used to say ,I sold the option and collected the premium ,and that is my profit, Don't they square off their position,is it not mandatory for claiming the profit ? even if the market moved as per their calculation or they allow options to expire and the whole premium amount remains with them without squaring off

Most important point from my perspective (trader with limited capital)>>> Option buying is less risky compared to Option selling. Loss in option buy is the premium paid / capital invested. But, in option selling, loss can be unlimited (if one doesn’t like to take out loss). From a retailer's perspective, I will always be comfortable with option buying, that too having intraday positions. Intraday position is less tension-free, no worries abt gap up, gap downs!

Very true that new traders like me do get influenced by influencers. I also thought non-directional option selling is quite easy and best way to earn. But now I feel given the low premiums and high taxation on option selling, learning swing or positional trading is much better and good ROI can be generated. Just need to spend some time learning the right technique to pick the right stocks. Good video bhai!!

I have never done options i don't know about it, i never do intraday, i do swing trading started with 9000 which i saved from my pocket money and made it 84000 as of today. Bro very gud video.. Initially when i was new in options.. On exipry day i took 85 trades in a one day.. 2700 ka profit hua.. Or 4000 ka brokarage laga.. Tab samja me aya.. 3-4 hours 1-2 min ka movement kafi he for option buyer.. For making 1500-2000 per lot... Or hedge fund ka hum kya karen.. Hame to apna fund hedge karna he.. he is saying right that trade option buying only 2- 3 times a month.. one of my also said exactly that only trade on any news or bog move that is enough to make a good money and fortunately he is a good trader as i think he said and show his p&l that he had make 18 lakh with only few amount of money thanks sir

Subscribed for your huimlity and simplicity. Can you please talk more about the difference between option buying vs selling if anyone with capital (like me) want to do option selling, but doesn't really understand what difference does it make if I am exiting everyday and not carrying positions. thanks again! ( I still like option buying with SL, still in loss, ONLY bcos of overtrade, its like I had +3K in the morning with option buying with just 30K capital and bcos of FOMO bought again around 12PM and I had -6K end of day. 75% of my losses are bcos of this.) But I somehow feel like if you are not desciplned in intraday, you can still loose the same money in option selling as well. Need your inputs on this please, if you can.

continuing the comment i m a also a seller , main ek mahine mai ek ya shaid who bhi kabhi kabhi koi trade nai leta , market mere tarike se chalni chahiyea, i sometimes sell two months in advance kyuki pata hota hai market kahi nai jane wali it will be in my favour , yakin maano , jab galwan valley ka incident hua tha maine saare positions square off kar diye the , made profit uske baad maine next 4 months tak koi trade nai kiya tha i was just watching movies on tv 😂😂 kyuki trade karna itni volitile market mai it was a risk on both sides so i said dekho paise mai baad mai bana lunga lekin aab nuksaan hua tho shaid mai kabhi trade na kar paou so i m out baaki kama rahe hain kamane do apna paisa hai bachake rakho

Main ek full time trader hu aur main option selling aur buying dono karta hu currency me bhi option selling aur buying dono karta hu sath hi sath hedging ka bhi use karta hu. Mera manna hai ki agar aap ek trader ho to sab kuchh Karo.
