The Optris CT 4ML is an innovative design from the German manufacturer of infrared temperature sensors and now allows precise measurement of metals at temperatures starting from 0°C and rising to 500°C. The short wavelength sensitivity of the sensor makes it suitable for metals, metal oxides, ceramics and other materials with unknown or changing emissivity but it is also perfectly suitable for plastics and other materials.
An additional advantage is the extremely fast response time of just 300μs, making this our fastest sensor and therefore ideal for extreme high speed processes.
