That was a beautiful video! First I’ve seen from OR Tambo. I loved that airport. Clean, modern, very friendly staff. Loved seeing the world wide airlines serving Tambo.
Hello! In November I will be visiting Cape Town and I would like to spot. Is 19 the main runway and what are the best locations and times to spot in late November? Thank you!
Yes that is the only runway they really use sometimes the direction just changes because of our weird weather in SA. For landing you need to go early mornings because all the long haul birds come in and late evenings to night time the long haul birds take off again. The best place to spot is in thier restuarant because you can see all the runways and gates and everything from there...the whole airport If you need more information or even a flight schedule closer to the time i can arrange for one because i live nearby so just reply if you need more info and ill email you a schedule *Sorry for spelling mistakes...typing on phone😂
The is a place just across the airport called bonero park u have a whole view of O R and for the a380s and 747s which sadly don’t come anymore becuase of COVID they came really really close when I mean close u could wave at the pilot and u can see him waving back
@@diantownsend3350 tbh I can't remember. But I think it was fairly clean when I recorded this. The viewing deck at the domestic terminal is always dirty though
