In this video, we will see how to install Oracle 19c Grid Infrastructure to protect database using Oracle Restart on a single instance installation. We are going to see how we can manage to store database files using Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
In order to demonstrate the steps necessary to perform this migration, first we need to setup/configure Oracle Grid Infrastructure on a VirtualBox Virtual Machine.
But before to proceed with the Grid Infrastructure installation, we need to create LV disks through Udev rules.
