Run Oracle 19c on Docker. How to install oracle on docker
Steps:
Git Clone github.com/ora...
Register in Oracle site
Download LINUX.X64_193000_db_home.zip from oracle site
Copy the LINUX.X64_193000_db_home.zip from Windows machine to Dockerfile/19.3.0 folder using WinSCP.
Build the Oracle docker image using command ./buildContainerImage.sh -v 19.3.0 -e -t oracledb:tag
Run the oracle database container

my error docker: Error response from daemon: error creating overlay mount to /var/lib/docker/overlay2/5e5143ca01efc423faae207315ce302e053aad8a221fa60957947410661fee69-init/merged: too many levels of symbolic links.

you have to set the data base in the cloud acording to oracle for now you can't conecct to the oracle container if you have an ARM chip

@@viclv4 thank you Victor for your information. I already found an alternative solution for my own, we can install the Oracle RDBMS 19c via UTM or even Parallel. Both are worked perfectly

Hi, when I download my image I can't finish it - it says "The container needs at least 18GB but only 0 GB are available" - I'm using Vbox machine on Ubuntu and system has a lot of RAM (as much as I can give) and I'm stuck. Does anyone have a solution how to fix it?

Increase the disk space of your VM. Not the ram.

Is oracle 19c enterprise edition free now? if we use the same link for dowloads(OTN?) as given in the video. Please give a quick reply if you see this is a paid version now.

prisma orm doesn't work on arm based oracle machine. any solution on that?

@@Thetips4you i found one temporary solution if we use node lts version in dock file it works fine. but when use alpine it doesn't work. it's telling Prisma generate not possible
