Hi it's good one,, One doubt... During the user error and the time of flashback , there will be at the same time other transactions occur in the same table by other users... So when we flashback table as per one user's request , all transactions made by others are also flashed back!! Hence, how will other user tolerate the flashback ? Is there any method to flashback only a particular statement and not the whole thing? LogMiner is the solution ? please tell. thanks
+Shameem. M. Thats exactly what happens... In case if you know other transactions and their time frames as well, then there is a possibility of rolling back only the transactions which are faulty.
Ya.. But , suppose thousands of transactions can occur in between while we flashback someon'e fault... Hence what about all people's real transactions.. ? Could you answer this doubt?
Hi, Nice point you made. Flashback itself has got an option to do this with "FLashback transaction query" and also "Flashback version query" which can help you get this done.
hi ramkumar i am working as a ORACLE DBA i need to do practice more so will you provide lab servers at lease two two node RAC set up? If you dont mind i ll pay rent also.
hlw sir your explanation is really good...i'hv one query that can you explain about ora-12154 through youtube vedio.....if do ...i'll be pleased....thx.!!!
helo sir kindly can you provide me the complete database administration tutorial using oracle tool .i have done the introduction to sql tutorial but i require the complete tutorial.
Logically, it would have 8 rows, since that is what the Flashback function was asked to do. You'll have to get the new (12) records back another way, but not using the IMP/replace function.
Very nice demo, useful, thank you very much.... I have a small query. can you help me on this ? in the last, you shown the log of the whole session, how ? can you please tell me how to take the log of a particular session ?. Many thanks in advance for your prompt response :)
Hello sir, I'm a non technology background student, working in an MNC company, can non technology people also learn Oracle DBA and get job in that field, are there any such instances, please respond, Thanks in advance.
Make a video step by step without any errors , you are showing it easy by complicating the beginnings who is watching by making mistakes and not showing from straight point to point .. I expect you to give a straight clean demo ..
