Well explained. Do we need to use % symbol in the dumpfile name when using parallel parameter in the expdp to run the export faster.

Yes, The %U parameter is used to create multiple dump files with a sequence number. %U is specify from 01 to 99. %L,%l is used from 01-99 also extend up to 2147483646.

Having multiple dump files can be beneficial for parallel processing and managing large exports. If you don't specify %U it won’t directly impact the speed of the export job.
