Hi there, could you please tell us how to do a backup or snapshot of the server in Oracle? I never found out how? It's very important before installing new stuffs or upgrading or any changes, take a snapshot of the server in case something went wrong then we can revert back.

i converted my account to Pay as you go and i am creating an instance with always free options like ampere 4 core 24 GB shape ( Ubuntu OS)and when i selecting the boot volume size 190 GB, estimate cost is showing SGD $ 33.69 why is that because i am using always free tier options

I upgraded to PAYG account b/c it will also allow you to get port 25 unlocked. So go for it. If you are worrying about budget, you can create a Budget Alert.

You cannot upgrade to a paid account if you have a public service email address like Gmail, Yahoo, etc. Very annoying... You must provide a business email.

Personally I was misunderstood oracle "free forever" words. After 1 year of usage, my account terminated because of it's limited to 1 year only. bullshit..

You should have told us beforehand that upgrading to a Pay As You Go account would charge us (temporarily) 100$ lol

Please stop recommending this service as they do terminate your account without prior notice, even for new accounts with active services e.g a RSS reader and some simple docker containers. They just terminate your account, even after just about two weeks of testing their service daily and there is nothing you can do. You cannot even delete your account when the tenancy is terminated. Very poor service!
